the rocks are nice but they are covered in white powder. You can use them like that... which I did for my planter project or hose them down before using.

Most of these rocks are NOT 1-2 inches as described. They are much bigger. The description states "medium," and the bag they are packaged in says "small." They are neither. Consequently, most are too big for my intended project. Worst of all, these rocks arrived coated in a thick film of white powder like chalk dust. That is why they are "snow white." After hosing them down to remove the powder, they were no longer snow white. Many were grayish and a few were partially stained green making them look moldy. I would return this order, but at 30+ pounds, and in a flimsy, partially collapsed box, I cannot drag them back to the post office. What a disappointment and waste of money. Would not order from this vendor again.

These are big and bright white. But good.
