These are very cool bowls; they are attractive and are environmentally sustainable. They have a "rough hewn" look and feel to them which enhances the natural product vibe. I will use mine for fruit bowls, or salad bows, and I will do so gladly. Unfortunately, I wanted to use these at a party where hot soup will be served. As a trial, I poured heated water into one of the bowls and it began to deform almost immediately. I left it on the counter with the hot water in it to see what would happen; it continued to deform and become very sloppy. When I picked the bowl up after a few minutes, there was water underneath it which had oozed through the palm leaves. There is no way I'm going to ask my guests to deal with a soup bowl that begins to break down literally before your eyes. I also ordered the plates, which will be great for cold sandwiches, but I had to order different bowls.

No one wants to do the dishes, and we don't like to waste plastic, these bowls can even handle hot soup! We love them, and they are better for the Earth than the plastic kind.

For when you want disposable plates but you want something that looks a little better than some cheap looking disposable plates, these provide an elegant/chic look. They are very sturdy and can handle a variety of foods. Some have small cracks along the top edge but no issues during use.

I will have to return the entire batch. I opened the cellophane covering, and noticed a lot of the bowls were chipped and brittle. The sides of the bowls were peeling off.

We had a party for Labor Day and I used this product and the 10 inch deep plates. They were a huge hit. We had some hot food and cold food and they held up really well with all the items. There was no seeping of liquid through them and many people got seconds on food with them as well. They are also so beautiful to display before the party. I got ooo's and ahhh's from my guests. And of course, people are really impressed with the way they are made and how the website mentions how the workers who make them are given a fair wage and also how they are made from sustainable, compostable products-- no plastics. Totally worth the price. All my guests are asking for them.

I was shorted in my order by the amazon fulfillment center. I contacted the seller and they made it right for me within a week! I am using these for my sustainable wedding. I will continue to use this product and company for any other events in my life! thanks!

My bunny LOVES these palm leaf bowls! A great nibble toy for any rabbit. They are pure palm leaf, not treated with chemicals, so I know they are safe and healthy. Sometimes I put his salad inside or just give him a bowl by itself. He loves tossing them around, pawing at it when it flips over, and of course munching on the edges!Highly recommend for any house bunny looking for an extra treat and hours of entertainment.

These were a little on the expensive side but were literally the best bowls I have ever seen or used. I kept getting compliments at my party for these. I had a tropical party and they went really well. It’s also great that they are compostable, and eco-friendly. They are super sturdy to you could probably put the soup in here or cake and ice cream which is what I did.
