Feedback on the sizing
I don’t write a lot of reviews but, as a mother of two toddlers, I truly appreciate when other consumers take the time to share feedback, especially on sizing. So, I’m going to start contributing my share to help others too! These ballet shoes are great. Keep in mind the “pink” is really “ballet pink” or otherwise known as nude. My 2 year old wears a size 6 toddler shoe. She is soon approaching a 6.5 within the next month. Therefore, I ordered a 7.5 in this ballet shoe. It fits perfect! Glad I went 1.5 sizes up and not just one. Also note, when I first took the shoes out of the box, they looked so small - like little doll shoes. But, to my surprise, it was an illusion because it slipped right on and fit my daughter’s feet perfectly! Great quality. Capezio is a classic. Bottom line: you can’t go wrong by ordering 1.5 sizes up.

Was confused on size at first
These shoes are super cute and very well made. I loved the leather smell right out of the box. They are more of a nude shade. I was so confused on what size to order. My daughter is 2 1/2 and in the 50th percentile for weight and height. She wear a size 7- 7.5 shoe. They were out of the 8.5 so I had to decide between the 8 or the 9 unless I wanted the 8.5 narrow or the 8.5 wide. I chose the 8 regular. When I pulled it out of the box the shoes seemed SOO TINY! I thought for sure they would never fit but to my suprise they fit perfect! I would buy again. I wouldnt say that she has a lot of room to grow into that much, but for less than $20 i dont mind. We should get maybe 6 months use out of them I'm guessing.

Ripoff, inaccurate description
The description said order a half size up and I did. I’ve already had to return one pair and I needed these ASAP. These are not only at least a whole size too small but they’re very narrow in the toes and I ordered a medium not a narrow shoe. My kid does not have fat feet I’m pretty sure... all other regular shoes fit her and I’ve never had to buy anything wide. I tried to do a return based on an accurate item description and it wasn’t allowed. What a scam. As you can see in this photo they’re next to a pair of size 5 shoes these are way smaller and there’s supposedly a size 7!! I’m so peeved.

Cute and great quality
Cute! Due to ordering first bloch ballet shoes, I learned my lesson of ordering a wide ballet shoes for my daughter in capezio brand because even if she has a small feet it was quite tight with bloch brand. I ordered size 6.5 for my daughter that wears 5.5 and it fits her perfect theres few mm extra to grow but since its leather it will strech a little more overtime. The color is not really pink more like nude. The straps are wider than bloch and tighter. In comparison with size from two brands mentioned my daughter wears the same 6.5 size with both brands... shes 6.5 W with capezio and 6.5 C with bloch 5.5 with regular shoes

Don't follow the Capezio size chart!
I am very angry right now! I found out on Friday that my 3 yr old daughter got into a waitlisted ballet+tap class that starts tomorrow. I ordered these on Friday using the Capezio size chart. My daughter wears an 8 US, and the chart said to order a 7. WELL the chart is WRONG. These shoes are NOT the equivalent of an 8 US. They are way too small! I should have ordered the 8! I'm so upset. There's no way for me to get another order in time for her class. I'm scrambling to figure out where I can go locally to get what I need for her. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing. And AGGRAVATING because without their "helpful" chart, I would have ordered the correct size! And guess what? SAME STORY WITH THE TAP SHOES. I am not happy at all.Edit to add: I just realized these are not returnable! I AM FURIOUS! Absolutely furious!Second edit: I found a local place and ended up purchasing a size 9 for my daughter. I realized that the Capezio size chart is literally backwards. The column labeled "Manufacturer size" should mean the Capezio shoe size, and the 'US" column should indicate the child's size in regular shoes. The data for the columns is switched! The chart says "Manufacturer size" "Toddler 7" corresponds with "US" size 8, which means buy a Capezio size Toddler 7 if your kid wears a US size 8 in other shoes. But the chart should be exactly the opposite because the Capezio size should be a whole size larger than the generic US size. I really don't care what anything else says in the listing or reviews. A MANUFACTURER'S SIZE CHART SHOULD BE ACCURATE. It looks like they literally mixed up the column labels! What kind of amateur bull is that? And after so many people complaining about the shoes not fitting, you'd think they would figure out that whoever typed up their own size chart screwed it up, EPICALLY. It's so so annoying. And I'm never ordering dance shoes online again. It only cost $4 more dollars to buy the same pair of shoes from a dancewear store, and they make sure the shoes fit correctly. It's worth every penny to not go through this mess again.

Run SUPER SMALL - order TWO SIZES up
Let me start by saying these shoes were ordered for play for my 2 year old who is obsessed with ballet. I don’t know anything about ballet shoes or how they should fit. Ok, going forward - these shoes seem to be good quality. We have a hard time finding shoes that fit my little girl’s wide feet and the wide shoes fit great. I read other reviews to order a 1-1.5 sizes up. I decided to order TWO sizes up to leave room to grow. Unfortunately, they won’t fit for long. These shoes run SUPER, SUPER SMALL. Again, these are great shoes but I strongly recommend ordering two sizes up.

(I'm so glad I took their sizing advice)
My daughter wears size 7 in regular shoes, and I purchased size 8.5M according to other reviewers, which fit her perfectly. (I'm so glad I took their sizing advice). I ordered the pink, and it looks just like the picture, great quality material. You can even tighten the lace for an even more snug fit. My only complaint is that the knot tied from the string comes undone quite often (at least once or more every time she wears them), even when I double tie the knot, this is only reason I'm giving it a 4 stars.

Elastic tie makes them easy to get on
Always need to buy a size bigger with ballet shoes. Love these because they come in a narrow fit option and the tie/string is elastic so really easy to get on and off. Highly recommend.

Good ballet shoes
I bought this model because is the one used in my daughter's ballet school. Is a very nice shoe, with a pretty daisy fabric in the inside and good pre-sewed elastic. We love the inside tag to put the name also. My girl has normal feet but for a good fit we bought the N (narrow) model, the M (medium) is a little too large. The shoe size is accurate to normal.

soft leather child's ballet shoe
Lovely soft leather ballet shoe with elastic suitably attached. Very attractive for a young child starting ballet. Would probably need to buy one to one and a half sizes.

V Good quality!
Quality of the leather is good and with the additional strings they can be adjusted to fit the feet snugly. Overall very good shoe.
