The Lavazza BLUE Single Espresso Gran Espresso Dark Roast Coffee Capsules make a very nice cup of espresso and work well in the Lavazza Blue Classy machine.

Unlike many coffee pods, this coffee is actually a standout among the rest. Lavazza blue capaules have been our go-to for over five years. Whst we like about this specific capsula is that it is a double shot whereas most capsules are only a single shot of espresso.

I have been drinking four different Lavazza Blue pod coffees for a few years. I drink my coffee black. I started with Lavazza because I wanted a deep flavor coffee similar to what I tasted in Europe. While traveling though Germany, Austria, and Switzerland I noticed the coffees were stronger but tasted great compared to American coffee. I bought a Starbucks coffee while on the trip and it was a great disappointment compared the the European blends. So I bought a Lavazza Blue coffee maker and pods. I make an 8oz cup of coffee using two pods. All of the different types of Lavazza coffee blends taste very good but the Grand Espresso was even better, at least to me. I will continue purchasing Lavazza Blue pods. The coffee is very similar to what I experience on my trip. I recommend the purchase of this product.

Some sellers have recently jacked up the price overnight from $55-60 to over $100 per box. I’ve had many boxes of this, good but not at all >$0.60 per capsule good.

I love the lavazzo coffee maker and the coffee products. The Gran Espresso Dark Roast is my favorite. There are less expensive makers and coffees, but the quality and taste are worth the extra cost.

FYI this will NOT fit a Nespresso type thump size pod expresso machine. The coffee could taste amazing. Just wish I could try it. Now I cannot return it. Ugh!
