Worked well
Worked well for our shelf on our board and batten wall

Not great quality
Looks nice but not the most solid of brackets. Just feels shallow not solid. But it was easy to install and is holding a large shelf up well so far. Wouldn't put alot of weight on it though

These are pressed sawdust, not wood - they split before you can use them
We bought these as a support for our bar top. They shipped quickly and we were excited to finish our project! They have pre drilled holes but as soon as my husband put the screw through it split! We tried a second one - same thing. These are pressed sawdust, not actual wood. We elected to return these - but instead of a refund they sent us 3 of the same poorly made brackets. I have already shipped back the original brackets we received and will just toss the “replacements”. I don’t shop a ton on Amazon but if I have had to return anything in the past I have been issued a refund (or given the option) - this was just replaced with the same cheap, useless product.

Quality is an Issue
Quality is an issue on these brackets. Of the 4 keyholes, all 4 were different depths and lengths. I ended up gluing them to the shelf and only used the keyholes to hang it on the wall.NOTE: I would not trust these to support much weight. The keyholes are poorly drilled and the particle board is fragile. They are more decorative than functional. So, as the title says, "Decorative Wood Corbel", decorative is the operative word. (And, this is pressed wood - not solid wood. The grain of the press makes it easy to crack down the center if you put too much weight on the keyhole screws.)

Decent affordable shelf brackets. Look Nice, bad quality control
How to install:Measure the distance from the flush top to the center of a screw in the slot (make sure the screw is all the way up against the edge of the slot). Mark this distance on your wall and put in the first screw. Make sure you are in a stud or you will need to use drywall screws. For me, I was drilling into MDF so it didn't matter. Back out screw to where you can just barely slide the shelf bracket on. Measure the distance between the slide holes to find the location of your second screw. Use a level to make sure the shelf bracket is level. There is some 2 sided tape included to stick the shelf to the bracket, but I am going to use a screw in the bottom of the shelf (just like the ones in the wall), to make sure the shelf doesn't come down.Pros:Inexpensive shelf bracket, looks good when done right.Cons:Quality control is bad. The screw slots aren't in the same place on each shelf. All 3 I ordered were in different spots. I didn't realize this until I had already marked and drilled all of the holes according to the measurement on the first one. This was annoying, I had to redrill and measure each one each time. Also, one of the shelf brackets is a little bit longer than the other 2 as you can see in my picture of the mudroom shelf. I will mount it a little forward so that it won't be obvious and I am using a trim piece on the bottom of the shelf so it shouldn't be a huge issue. Just know that these are cheap for a reason. Thanks, I hope this was helpful!
