I’m changing my review
I found the shaft to be flimsy but the tool works great. Magnet is very strong so you don’t have to worry about dropping the drain plug into you drain pan. I wish I had this years ago.

Good value
Works as described. Magnet is strong. Prevents oil mess on hands and arms when dropping oil pan plug. Just wipe of with a rag when finished. Good product. I would recommend for anyone changing their oil. Also works to drop oil filters with no mess. Good value for the cost.

This tool is just as important as a filter wrench when changing oil. Wish I had one 40 years ago. Also makes great gift for DIYers

Cheap for a reason
The magnet shattered after a week of use. The magnet was weak to begin with, barely "gripping" the drain plugs and incapable of removing plugs that had even a small amount of grime in the threads. The flexible section of the tool was too weak to transfer any force when held at an angle, necessitating that it be held mostly straight out from the drain plug to be usable.

Pretty good but not perfect.
Found the edges that wrap around the drain plug to be too long and hit the oil pan. That made it a little difficult to use. After a few uses the magnet came off. I don’t really use it anymore due to that.
