This brush was a higher quality than I expected. Muhle has always been known for top quality. But this has surpassed all my expectations. Now I can’t wait to hit the road so I can pack this thing up and have some adventures.

This is a quality shave brush. The fibers are soft and, most importantly, firmly glued in place. If you are trying to decide between this brush and the FS version, then I will help you save money. Buy this more expensive brush. Once the knot pops out of your cheaper FS brush, you will be purchasing this one. Buying this one first will save you money.

Pros: Good travel brush. The synthetic fibers are soft and builds a decent lather. Since there are less hairs, the lather is not as thick as normal SilverTip brushes. The travel tube is very nice chrome like all Muhle products. Dries in a couple of hours.Cons: Its very expensive and the synthetic fibers are only marginally better than the FS travel brush. There is a bare chrome spot inside of the tube that was either missed in the chroming process or scratched away by the brush screw cap. When the brush is tucked in side of the tube, it floats loosely inside and can bang around. If they had lengthened the brush's screw cap, the cap could drop through the top and be screwed in from the inside. Could be better for the price.
