I just received this product in the mail today and I am very impressed. I'm always looking for earring backs and I prefer the bullet backs and these are perfect. I love the way these work, good size and stay on well. The back part is the finish turns color. The picture shows ther way they look when you get them, the second shows what they look like after about 2 months. I guess with the amount that comes in the order you could change them out all the time but I don’t want to do that. Both were gold.

I bought these since so many jewelry makers today are shipping their products with backs that have those huge plastic rings around them, which are useless if you have multiple ear holes. These are a great replacement.

These backings are labeled as Safety Backs. Whereas, they are easy to insert and comfortable to wear, they are not quite what I expected as safety backings. My prior safety backs that I owned had an additional catch to them that kept the the earring from sliding ought, i.e., when pulling a garment over head or if something was accidentally caught in them preventing possible loss of the earring . However, it is a great deal for the cost. I'll probably never run out of backings and hopefully never lose an earring.
