Poor quality and "lifetime guarantee" is a joke
First, let me say that after my first 3 weeks of using this product I would have given it 4-5 stars, because:1) With a little experimentation I was able to find a way to use the adjustable straps to make it both comfortable and effective for me. (With slight sweat in the chin area by morning.) I liked the adjustability, light weight, and it stayed in place 95% of the time.2) After the first day or so, I did not experience any ongoing problem with odor as has been mentioned by some other reviewers.HOWEVER: It began to fall apart in week 7. There are 3 layers - a black and a red stretch fabric on either side with a neoprene-type layer in the middle. Both the red and the black fabrics have started to separate and peel back from the middle layer, and it's getting worse by the day. Thus, comfort has been lost (neoprene now directly on the skin in places) and I expect this thing to be completely unusable within a few more weeks of use.I hoped that this was a fluke and that Amazon or the 3rd party vendor would honor the "100 percent lifetime satisfaction guarantee" and send me a replacement to try again. NOT. The time frame had already passed for a return to Amazon. The 3rd party vendor said sorry, you HAVE to go back to Amazon. The Amazon rep asked if I had gone back to the original manufacturer, EasySleep Pro, with my problem. I explained that I had been unable to find that manufacturer by any online search. It turned out that the Amazon rep could not find any contact information on them either! So apparently they are some sort of ghost company that you cannot directly work with in any way. Thus, no guarantee at all for the actual product.I want to emphasize that the Amazon rep was great, and provided me with a promotional voucher for the original cost of the item, so Amazon made it right for me in terms of the product cost. But the product itself and the manufacturer are pretty much worthless.PS I went back and read more reviews, and found other reference to this same problem. So it's not just me, and it's not a fluke. It wasn't a large amount of money but it was a total waste of my time. Don't waste yours.

which has a nice tackiness for the verkro
This chinstrap, using a CPAP machine, is NOT one-piece anymore, it is one-piece with velkro adjustments at top of head and back, it is SO SMALL IT'S 1.5 INCHES SHORT AT TOP , I bought the improved edition, adjustable. I measured from chin-to-top of head 12.5-12.75 inches so, it's 25-26 inches if you double. Strap is NOT EVEN CLOSE at to it's 1 1/2 in short, my wife sewed in some "ace bandage" material, doubled, which has a nice tackiness for the verkro, but I recommend, as a 8-yr user of CPAP, this chinstrap from CPAP2U/ item # TMS-07, is damn good, I know everyone complains about the velkro quality, they are trying to use a thinner material because chinstraps are meant to be worn underneath a CPAP mask, all you have to do, is use a wirebrush, to get all the fuzz out of the velkro, and after repeated washings (use cold water) the fabric loses it's nap, so just sew some velkro unto it: this one is good> "Premier Chin Strap (blue) item # TMS-07 made by Tiara, sold by CPAP2U, also this chinstrap is neoprene, it's made so it will last, but it's about 1/8 inch thick foam-fabric, IT IS HOT ! I use a fan from 5-ft away wearing CPAP nasal mask, but this is very hot, try the one I mentioned instead, it's about 1/16 in thick, around $20 or less I think, ....

No more dry mouth!
This chin strap has been working great! Let me tell you that it took a while before I finally decided to purchase it. I had fears of it being too wide & gripping my chin too tightly under my chin across the tongue area and cutting off my air, fears of it messing up my hair, and fears it would just slip off each night and not really work. All my fears were for nothing! The chin portion of the strap isn't so wide that it pushes against my tongue-fits perfectly over my chin only, I have shoulder length, thick hair and it doesn't snag my hair or make it look funny in the morning (might for others depending on your hair), and the only part of the strap that slips around at night is the chin portion-sometimes it slips up & covers my mouth, not my nose though. That's just what I need, it still keeps my mouth shut and now even when my lip relaxes at night & droops I don't breath through it becasue the chin strap covers it. I must have been mouth-breathing for many years and it finally built up to last year when I had 3 cavities to fill because of my dry mouth! You need your spit for healthy teeth. I hate having the need for fillings! No more dry mouth!

Woke Myself Snoring with Head Strap On
So, I bought the original basic head strap from EasySleep and found the ear holes made my ears sore as the strap shifted in my sleep. Decided I'd go all out and buy the EasySleep Pro Chin Strap. I like the design and the holes for the ears were so big I didn't think it would hurt my ears. There's also a nice little area for my chin.Unfortunately, the material is not quite the same as the original and as one reviewer mentioned, the chin strap made my chin sweat so often that I'd take it off. I even resorted to putting a piece of tissue in there but that gets annoying. Also, after adjusting the straps and velcro to fit my head, I still found myself snoring. Woke myself up a few times too. This doesn't work. Only reason I gave it two stars is because I liked the design and the effort EasySleep made into creating a newer version of the chin strap.

How long will this last?
I have had other chin straps very similar to this one, and this one looks to be made better and fits much better than the others. Prior to this chin straps I had trouble getting a good fit. The others were too big. My only concern is how long this will last. Although it looked to be made better than the others, I have had it a little over a month and it is showing a considerable of wear for such a short time. I would like to get at least six months of wear out of it. This is the reason I gave it three stars.
