The BooneDOX Landing Gear is a kayak wheel system utilizing receptacles that permanently attach to the top of your boat - wheels attach, deploy, and retract without having to tip the kayak over on its side. Very Disappointed
When I received my package, 1- t-nut was missing preventing me from installing it right away on my 2014 Hobie PA. I had to go through a lot of red tape with the shipper and the manufacturer. It took over 3 weeks before I received the 1 t-nut. I installed it the next day, I went out for the first time and the wheels collapsed. The knuckles turned, the plastic stripped along with the bolts. I'm not sure how they rated the max weight for this system, but the one time I used it, I didn't even have a crate on the back, and it collapsed.I Also, the quality control for packaging is poor because I hear other people who purchased the product had a very similar experience with missing parts. Right now, it's unusable. Very disappointed.

Instructions are easy but the metal plates are not great. The screws like to cross thread them self in to the metal and get stuck. I've to order new plates twice a d they are 40$.But I think it will worth in the end.

Not as happy with this as other things I’ve bought.. not strong enough to hold boat up and almost damaged it..

Nightmare to install on Hobie pro angler not worth ot
Nightmare to install!!! I put 5 hours in already not done. Impossible finally ran the bar in the hull With it wrapped around with wire. I got the screw in couldn’t unwrap the wire. Now I Had to cut it start over. They really should supply wiring that’s pliable and releasable. Really should just re engineer the thing. Maybe work with kayak company’s more to have that stuff pre put in. On my pro angler Hobie it just flat out not worth all the work.

Wouldn’t recommend
Just get the 40 dollars wheels. I wouldn’t recommend this one I bought it and it damaged my kayak and wasn’t sturdy at all. While taking it out the aluminum barrel that holds the wheel started to bend. Very disappointed.
