Not MPPT as advertised
Description mentions this is MPPT controller but even when the controller has MPPT mode showing it is not in MPPT mode. It shows voltage and watts as the same as when hooked directly to the battery while real MPPT controllers show voltage at 70V or something much higher than my 24V system I am connected to. I have a Midnight Classic 150, an MPP Solar LV2424, and a Outback FlexMax 80, all of which are MPPT and work as expected in MPPT mode. With real MPPT controllers I can get around 500W @ 70V (all 3 real MPPT I listed are about the same) but with this device I only get about 340W @ 27.2V (this is the same output I get when hooking my charge source (permanent magnet alternator or PMA using a drill to spin it for testing purposes) directly to the battery, so this device is not doing any MPPT control.
