10/10 headlight restoration kit!
This Cerakote branch cleaning kit is the easiest way I've ever restored headlights. I've used other products that required power tools to save away the top layers of the headlamp but we're always cumbersome. The instructions were clear and easy to understand and follow. This made my headlights look nearly brand new. The only suggestion I have is this-if your headlamps are severely faded, I'd recommend buying a coarser grit sandpaper for the initial clearing away of the top layer, such as 800 grit, then follow it with the included grit sandpaper discs. Mine could've used a coarser grit to begin with as I could still feel some slight headlamp damage that a coarser grit would've removed initially. This is such an easy process and the results were definitely night and day, as seen in my photos. I give this Cerakote headlight kit a 10/10!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Results!! Highly Recommend!
I was honestly impressed with how well this headlight restoration kit worked! I watched the instructional video all the way through first so I knew exactly what to expect. When I was ready to start, I played the video again in the background and followed along step by step. The process was easy to follow, and the results were amazing. My headlights look so much better, and the difference between the before and after is incredible. I adding a few after pictures because they really show how well this product worked. For reference my car is a 2012. If your headlights are cloudy, oxidized or looking a little rough and you’re considering restoring them yourself, I highly recommend this kit. Watch the video, follow the steps, take your time, and you’ll be amazed at the difference! Definitely worth it and a solid 5 stars from me!

Impressive results, and still holding up after 3 months
This worked much better than I expected. My headlights were noticeably cloudy and oxidized before using the kit, and the difference afterward was significant. They came out much clearer and looked dramatically better. It does take some elbow grease, especially if your headlights are heavily oxidized, so don’t expect to just wipe it on and be done. You have to put some effort into the process, but in my case it was absolutely worth it. More importantly, the results weren’t just temporary. It has been about three months since I restored them and the headlights are still holding up very well with no noticeable return of the heavy cloudiness. I’m including before and after photos because they show the improvement better than I could describe it. For an inexpensive kit that doesn’t require power tools, I’m very happy with the results and would definitely use it again.

It's almost like magic, it's unbelievable...
This product works so well, the amount of effort and time you spend on it is far exceeded by the results, it's almost like magic. Look at my before and after pictures and see for yourself. The headlights I used this on were oxidized, I normally use headlight polish on it every month or so to clear it up but it takes a lot of effort, the results aren't amazing and it only lasts a few months. The before pictures show the extent of it after a complete wash and wipe down with isopropyl alcohol. The instructions were clear, though I did notice one typo, it mentions to use a red sanding pad followed by gray, but my kit came with red and green, I just assumed green for gray and it was fine. After washing the headlights you must dry it thoroughly and if you sprayed water all around, dry or soak up as much water from the surrounding area as possible. This is important, you don't want wind to move standing water so that it sprays onto the headlight at the worst time (like the clear coat step), take no chances. If you have an electric duster, an 18V job site blower, or an air compressor, use those to blow all standing water away. If you get water into the hood while washing, don't lower the hood until the headlights are fully done and you waited for the clear coat to dry/cure completely according to instructions. The hood in the up position can hold water in it, it has drain holes to drain water out when it's laying down flat, if you lower the hood before the clear coat is dry the water will run out of the drain holes right onto your uncured headlights, leave the hood up. Most of the time and effort you spend will be on the sanding step and that depends on the size of your headlight and how intricate it is, headlights with intricate designs and reliefs will be annoying, you'll have to use the sandpaper by itself without the foam grip and fold it and spend a lot of time on edges and corners. In addition to the instructions I highly recommend you mask off the entire surrounding area with painter's tape, make sure you fold the painter's tape over and into the gap between the headlight and the bumper or fender. The nail biting part is at the end when you're applying the clear coat, you obviously don't want to mess it up, you're undoubtedly going to notice you missed a tiny spot, despite the directions saying not to go over it in multiple passes, I did it anyway and it turned out fine, you just want to do it quickly before it has time to set. The clear coat is sorcery, it self levels, I even saw a few tiny air bubbles and those all disappeared, after an hour it was dry and the finish not only looked 100% clear, it was completely free of defects and texturing, it literally (I can't emphasize this enough) looked like a brand new headlight. I expected a clear coat applied with a small gauze pad to be uneven, have visible strokes and texturing (like brush strokes), instead it's completely level with no marks and has no texture whatsoever, when I rub my fingers over it the surface feels shiny, reflective, slippery, like a new headlight. The result was so good I kept staring at it for over ten minutes at all angles. The whole job probably took me roughly one and a half hours from start to finish including masking, washing and drying the headlights. The sanding steps take the longest, the clear coat step is done in a minute or two. Time will tell how long it will last, if it even lasts a year I'll be happy. The pictures show driver's side "before" (I didn't take a picture of passenger side "before" but it looked the same), then an after shot for both driver and passenger side. Some things about the "before" shot: 1. It may look like light oxidation because you can still see through it, that oxidation is lighter than it normally would be, it hasn't been that long since I last polished it with headlight polish. Had I left it for a few more months it would have become totally opaque. 2. If you're wondering why there's a sharp line where it becomes completely transparent, that's where the hood sits and blocks the UV (like a farmer's tan).

Solid job but slightly more expensive
Take a look at before / after photos. This did a great job, but needs more sanding disks and definitely more "step 3" cerekote wipes. It only comes with two wipes which goes quickly based on larger headlights. For example, only one wipe will coat a set of headlight off a 1997 jeep wrangler due to the small size, but the surface area on a 2012 Hyundai elantra is twice that of the Jeep. All other items provided were super helpful. Suggestion for new user: take the headlight off the vehicle for best coverage and to eliminate damage to your vehicle's paint. Use a sanding disk on a drill, otherwise your arm will get tired of sanding. Finally, just dry sand the first grit from 300 to 600, then start applying water from a spray bottle for all other wet sanding with 800 grit to 3,000. Then....be sure to then buff it out with a polishing compound, buff dry, then apply cerekote.

Easy to use, good results
I really wanted to avoid paying to replace my headlights and decided to give this product a try. The drivers side has had the build up on it for over a year and the passenger side started to look bad probably 6 months or so ago. As you can see from the before and after, both headlights look significantly better. (With the passenger side looking almost brand new.) I will be curious to see how this hold up over time. The after pictures were taken about 18-20 hours after using the kit. The instructions were easy to follow, and it took maybe 25 minutes to do (including taping around the headlights). I recommend having a squirrel bottle to fill with water for the sanding portion.

Headlight kit that mostly works
I grabbed this headlight kit for our older family SUV so my wife could see better on her evening commute and so the van didn’t look so tired in the driveway. The directions are simple and the wipes make it easy. I did both headlights in about 30 minutes while the kids were riding scooters in the cul-de-sac. They looked a lot clearer after and the beams at night are better. The annoying part is my fingers got kind of sticky from the last wipe and the chemical smell hung around for a bit. Also if your lights are really trashed you’ll still see some haze, so don’t expect miracles.

Works amazing for price!
Worked amazing, put it on a little less than a week ago and have kept great results. Wasnt messy at all. The video has great tips as well and instructions were easy to follow. Takes an hour to dry and cure (i let mine cure overnight) and it looks beautiful . Washes well after curing. You get 8 step 1 wipes, and 2 step 3 wipes. I personally used 2 step 1 wipes each headlight, but the video does say to use all of them. Either way my results came out great. The wipes are also pretty big so that's good. For less than 20 bucks this is amazing!!

New Like Look
I used this headlight restoration kit and the results were exactly as mentioned in the product description. My car’s headlights were yellow and dull, but after following the steps in the kit, they became clear and bright again. The process was simple, and all the required materials were included. The final finish looks almost like new, and the light output has improved a lot. Definitely worth the money and highly recommended for anyone wanting to restore their headlights without replacing them.
