Looks great and appears extremely functional.
Bought for my wife. Looks great, sharp, not flimsy. Will get some watermelons one weekend so she can practice for the zombie apocalypse.

It's a real sword...😐
It slid out easily from the holder, but other then that the sword was nice. I used it for cosplay, and boy did it complete my outfit so can't really complain. Not much of a Katana fanatic, but what little interaction I did have with the sword was positive. Even when I had cut my finger on the darn thing😌☺☺

Great Katana
I love this Katana. It's Damascus steel, its cutting edge is very sharp and the design I chose is very simple, but beautiful for I found beauty in simplicity. The scabbard is lacquered and nicely decorated, and it complements the handle. The blade is awesome. I'm very pleased with this acquisition.

Solid build and quality, sharp and undamaged upon delivery.
This was a gift for a friend, and he couldn't be happier! One thing to note, in photos it looks much darker than in person. Overall though it blew my mind, how gorgeous the blade is, and how well the hilt feels in hand. It is not be some display piece (though it looks amazingly good on a stand) it is an actual katana and as such comes in very sharp. After buying this for a friend who likes knives and blades, and his love of it, I want to buy another for myself. (from somebody who usually buys dull replicas)

Very sharp, will chop someones head off lol
Its perfect, could be more deadly and sharp but its enough to cut a bottle of water in half and the shipping box in half so I'm perfectly happy with it.

Quality
To start off I would like to say that this katana is very good for the price and for what I use it fo. I couldn’t ask for anything better! The sword seems to be real Damascus steel and is fairly sharp straight out of the box. This katana came beautifully wrapped and well oiled. Going forward from here I do not claim to be an expert on swords but there are a few minor problems I would like to address and these problems are very minor. As soon as I received my katana I wanted to use it to see how it worked and since I have no enemies,( just kidding) I proceeded to have my wife throw various types of fruit at me so I could be a real life fruit ninja. After about an hour of this and the sharpening of my skills to about five grapes in a row I found that the wrapping on the handle was starting to unravel. This was easily fixed with some tucking and gluing. The other minor problem I found before use Was some small cracks on the back of the Blade. For the general public this will be no problem but if you are trying to cut down trees it may be a problem. If that is what you are going for I have two suggestions.1. Don’t buy this sword2. Buy an axeOther than that this sword is beautiful and amazing for having fun and cutting fruit. But know this is not a toy!Hope this helped you!

Ninja sword
