This comb is made out of a nonferrous metal. Feels like an aluminum alloy by the weight. To whom it may concern: this means is wont put up with even 25% of the stress a high quality stainless steel comb. You will snap its teeth off if you're rough with it. It has no iron or steel in it. Also, the fact that it's "stainless," is a bold faced lie. It's a very cheap chromium finish that I suspect is a spray on. Anyone can go to their local Walmart or parts store and pick up a 4-10$ rattle can of this finish and spray any metal with very comparable results. The Good: it serves its purpose just fine... hence the three stars.

This is definitely NOT stainless steel -- not sure what kind of cheap material it is! Time will tell if it was worth what I paid for it.

Perhaps the seller means to say it does not promote static, because I saw no difference in my hair at all when I used it. I gave it a couple stars because it’s really pretty

The dimensions they specified are correct but the picture they have is actually of a bigger sized comb. Good little comb but i was looking for the long comb. False advertising. This comb has 7 holes in each side while the one on the pic has 9 on each side.

Bought this metal comb because I was tired of the plastic ones always breaking. I love that I can throw this in my purse and know the teeth won't break. It is much easier to clean and does well with combing out my knots. I'm happy with this.

I have fine hair and not much of it, this pic was perfect for brushing it and not getting static.. i bought one for my mom, my car, and my office! I highly recommend for fine/thin hair!

Nice comb for the price. I use it on days when my hair has static.
