A good nailer so far.
We have quite a few different 18 gauge nailers in our production trim business. This is the first one that consistently drives nails to the correct depth leaving a clean non puckered small hole in mdf without giving us problems. We run 5 to 10 thousand two inch nails a week through this gun. After a couple months its still operating well with no problems. If this gun holds up well for a couple more months we will be completely retireing our remaining Hitachi, Ridgid, and Bostitch guns. One nice thing about this gun is it will shoot any type of nail you run through it fast and without problems. The Bostitch guns will leave a clean hole and drive to consistent depth but run anything other than Porter Cable or Bostitch nails and they have all sorts of problems. Considering we can order generic nails for less than half the price online this gun will pay for itself quickly.Update, We have been using these nailers for a couple years now. We now have 4 of these that have replaced the Hitachi, Bostitch, Rigid, Paslode, and Senco guns we have used in the past. One thing we have noticed is that these guns take a couple hundred shots before they start sinking nails consistently. It seems like the passage for the nails in the nose is a bit tight as I have seen sparks coming out and been hit with small pieces of shrapnel from a new gun. After a few hundred nails the sparks go away and nails start getting set consistently. We also take the plastic nose tips off to get the driver deeper. (file sharp edges on the nose piece) After hundreds of thousands of shots, and countless drywall screws hit and multiple falls off ladders, countertops etc, we have had one broken driver. Not perfect, but, they are the best we have found yet for what we do.

these work extremely good they are well made and very reliable.
I like MAX nailers I bought the construction stapler years ago and it has always worked great, this pinner in planning on doing assembly work with making cabinets and boxes and jigs and such Ill glue everything but this is a very good way to clamp thins together while the glue dries. I just like the way this is made and works every time.

Solid cool though slightly disappointing
Bought this to replace my Hitachi. To solid, well built tool, with some nice features. However, I had to crank the pressure where you up on my air compressor to get this gun to drive inch and a half nails into maple Crown molding on the cabinets. Even with the pressure on my air compressor cranks to 120 PSI, which is over the guns recommended pressure range, it still left several nails proud. I also had an opportunity to use this gun on pine stock and it was able to drive two inch nails without a problem even with the pressure turns down to 90 psi were supposed to be.

Older Bostich is a better gun but the newer bostich seem to wear out ...
Older Bostich is a better gun but the newer bostich seem to wear out the nail trays. this one is good except it lacks the ability to consistantly set nails which is a real pain. The safety is on the bottom rather than the top and that makes it harder to position the nails IMO. The other noteworthy thing is that the red sequencel button on the trigger is easily pushed loose if you are right handed and causes the gun to rapid fire. not good.A big plus is Jambs are few and do clear really easily with no tools required.

Best Brad Nailer on the market as well as all ...
Best Brad Nailer on the market as well as all their Nailer's .. especially their 15 ga finish nailer and framing nailer of which I have them all !!!! Their finish nailer 15 ga is the only one I have used that will sink nails into 3/4 in hard hardwood flooring such as Brazilian cherry and Tiger wood, and I have used them all.

Cheap feeling gun
Gun feels cheap. Anti fire feature when nails run out, stoped working immediately after purchase. Also the switch that toggles between rapid and single fire, constantly switches to rapid fire. Also had to take the anti mare nose off, to adequately sink the nails.
