Karate Kids

This book has been a great introduction to karate! Our toddler started karate class right before age 3 and this book helped her to get excited better than I (parent) could explain to her prior to getting this book!

Great book my son loves it

Perfect read for any child who is interested in karate! I loved the inclusion of characters, the illustrations were fun and relatable, and I enjoyed the proper terminology for the moves. It was educational and fun at the same time. There was also a strong sense of good sportsmanship, which is important in any group activity. Additionally, the story showed that it is okay to need help, and I think that is so important because that is part of the learning process. At the end I loved that the group is referred to as “family”. Recommend for any Karate Kid!

Good introduction for children

Bought for my 5 year old nephew who wants to start martial arts. It’s an easy, simple and illustrative book on martial arts. Perfect for a 5 year old to read.

Brilliant book. Purchased for my Cousin as my Uncle and I teach Karate both of us were impresed by the book. It is great that the book introduces the Japanese words kids will hear in the Dojo. Really nicely illustrated and well written.

I'm currently a 5th kyu in shotokan karate and bought this book for my niece who wants to take up karate when she's older. Had a read through it when it arrived and it's just perfect! The illustrations are cute as is the story.

Excellent book, fun, educational, good life lessons, great illustrations. Highly recommend.
