John Frieda Precision Foam Permanent Hair Colour gives fade-resistant, salon-quality results without the mess of traditional hair colour kits. A thick, rich foam penetrates each strand, saturating hair with deep, lustrous colour and covering greys flawlessly. The formula spreads easily, ensuring that roots and hard-to-reach areas are fully covered, and the white foam means no mess in your sink or bathtub. Once you’ve rinsed out John Frieda Precision Foam Permanent Hair Colour, nourish hair with the included Intense After-Colour Conditioner to lock in colour and protect it from fading. How to Use John Frieda Precision Foam Permanent Hair Colour: Apply to dry hair that has been combed through. Wearing included Salon Professional Gloves, remove the cap from Developer and empty Colourant into Developer bottle. Replace cap on Developer and slowly tilt – do not shake – bottle upside down five times to mix. Replace cap on Developer with Foamer nozzle and click into place. Holding the bottle upright, squeeze the middle of the bottle to distribute foam. Apply a tennis ball-sized amount of foam into gloved hand and apply to hair, starting at the roots of your natural part. Roughly section and apply another tennis ball-sized amount of foam to the next part, repeating as needed. Ensure that head is completely covered with foam, and using fingertips, massage head until the foam becomes frothy in appearance. Leave on hair 20 minutes for all-over colour, and an extra 10 minutes for stubborn greys, thick, or coarse hair. Foam should remain on hair for 30 minutes maximum. Rinse foam with lukewarm water until water runs clear. Squeeze out excess water and massage Intense After-Colour Conditioner into hair until it’s saturated. Leave in for 2-5 minutes and rinse, saving remaining conditioner to use once a week to lock in colour and protect it from fading. Style hair as usual. What I love...
My grey's never came back, and it's definitely non drip like it claims. My favorite part was how healthy my hair felt and stayed after use!

FRIED MY HEALTHY HAIR
I’ve been using home color for twenty years and have never had an experience as awful as this. Firstly, dark espresso brown actually means medium red brown. But ok. That happens. My hair is colored and incredibly healthy. My stylists have always marveled over the fact that color doesn’t damage it. Well! Don’t decide that you’ll try the slightly more expensive stuff because you haven’t colored at home for a while! My hair that falls to mid back is completely fried, after following the instructions to the letter. I’ve used a $50 hair mask and $50 leave in conditioner. Still crunchy. Im going to have to cut off at least four inches. I’m livid. DONT DO IT! BUT GOOD OLD LOREAL.

BEST COLOR! No need for a salon!
Did exactly what I wanted it to do! Will not ever go to the salon again for brown color, I will use this again in the future! I had old highlights that were showing too much of an orange/red tone, I had tried purple & blue shampoos nothing was really helping. I had a dark toner put on at the salon about 6-8 weeks prior & loved it (you could barely see the highlights-just a pretty brown color) but it faded within 2 weeks! So that was a waste of money! I wanted that same look so decided to try a permanent dye & did a lot of research on what would be the best color. The cool espresso brown is what I went with & I’m very pleased. I posted a before & after picture. I can see a couple of spots I may have gotten too dark (like I saturated hair too much in that spot) but they aren’t too noticeable. Not bad for my first time doing this. I will say that I was worried when it did not stay foamy all over my hair like the directions say & it shows in the photos. It would foam at first but quickly disappear so I thought maybe something was wrong but it turned out just fine. End result was a nice Dark chocolate brown & if you look closely you can still barely see the highlights which is what I wanted to add some dimension. Highly Recommend! Oh, it even covered a lot of my gray/white strays I have at my root area!

Great for hair coloring but not for white hair
Ok so I'm at the age where a few white hairs are sprouting here and there. I liked the color and I so wanted to love it but it covered my few strands of white hair (why do they call it gray hair when the hair is snow colored white?!) for less than two weeks. I wash my hair every 3 days and applied it as stated. The color is nice and natural looking, hair does not feel dry and over processed, and color has lasted for a few weeks except on my asian white strands of hair which was why I dyed it to begin with...

Good stuff
Fast and easy product to use. Doesn't leave your hair feeling like "doll hair" and color looks natural. I got a color that's close to my true hair color now. But it just gives a fresher look instead of looking so dull. (this is what happens when you are 56 years old! LOL)And fyi; this is about $5 less getting it through Amazon than it is at Walgreens($14.99!!) thank you very much. Sold.👍

Love!!
I have used many DIY home hair color kits and this one is by far my favorite. I did not even know until I found this on Amazon. John Frieda sold hair color. It has been three weeks since I colored my hair and I am just starting to see a couple of silvery gray pieces on the sides. When I have use Clairol, L'Oreal, and Swartsoff, etc., I have been seeing it come through and one to two weeks. So far, this color has been covering my gray longer than most. The color that I used is the closest to my natural color that I have found. The color is very rich and very beautiful and the conditioner is fabulous. I just ordered my second kit.

Great home product
Ever since I discovered this brand and foaming hair colorant, I have never went back to another product or stylist. This colorant leaves your hair so amazingly soft and nourished, it's hard to believe unless you have seen it for yourself. I've always had long, thick hair and in the past I would easily have to use at least TWO boxes of color to ensure coverage, but not always guaranteed. Just one box more than covers my hair with some left over. No sills or leaks. No horrible smell. The foam saturates all of the hair. So freaking easy to use. Best part is how soft it leaves my hair, plus I really like the gloves that are included. I always hated other brands cheat, big handed gloves!

Does NOT work on grey
Grey hair is always tricky, and the package says the results will be lighter. But if you are trying to cover roots (as opposed to a bit of grey throughout your hair), do not use this brand of color. It's like holding a pale brown bit of plastic film in front of your hair, and the two times I've used it, it fades fairly quickly. Also, the foam just feels like it's not doing anything and you certainly can't saturate your hair with it—especially not to the foamy lathered up look in the directions.

calidad
me gustó la calidad, lo único es que siento que me dura muy poco tiempo y que el retoque debe ser antes de lo que esperaba
