Or does it go a bit over(minus the backplate, of course)?** A: I had so many problems with this, it takes up a little more than 2 slots and if you have anything on your mother board that is a little raised, forget it. A really good idea but not worth the money, just add another fan to your case. This went back in the box, do you want to buy it? **Q: Do you need thermal glue with this?** A: Hi,you dont need thermal glue for this cooler and you dont need to remove the thermal compound from the copper base. The pre applied MX4 is one of the best thermal compounds in the market.
