The EStar America ESG6000 RF-3D Glasses let you experience 3D HDTV in full resolution, full color, and unparalleled quality. These glasses are the ultimate in reliable glasses technology, with a range of up to 100 meters and simultaneous support for up to 1000 glasses that virtually guarantees they will work in your home theater, even in situations where infra-red (IR) glasses or TI's DLP Link glasses will not work. The ESG6000 shutter glasses synchronize to the display using 3D-RF, a synchronization method that provides the ultimate in brightness control and eliminates the need for a carefully controlled environment to get everything working. The glasses are designed for ease of use and simple maintenance, are rechargeable through USB, have a folding design for compact storage, and have a cleanup-ready exterior safe for use with sanitizing wipes. The RF-3D Glasses in this box require an RF-3D Emitter. The ESG6100 Starter Kit, sold separately, contains 1 pair of glasses and one emitter. These RF-3D glasses will work with any other brand RF-3D Emitter incorporating Bit Cauldron BC100 emitter technology, including the MonsterVisionTM MAX 3D Emitter. Our RF-3D glasses and RF-3D emitter work with any projector with the vesa jack shown in the 3D Sync picture.

Few minor issues but overall great 3D glasses
These glasses are pretty good - the RF emitter works flawlessly anywhere in the room and they maintain a charge for a reasonable amount of time (although they seem to drain while sitting unused/off which is annoying). The charging port is located in an awkward location too, so if you need to charge these while you watch, expect to be uncomfortable. Thankfully they come with two size nose guards because the ones that are attached when they arrived are huge! This results in the glasses sitting way too far forward on your face, giving the impression that you're watching 3D through a tiny window rather than being immersed in the experience. The smaller guard solves this problem mostly, although they still feel like they could hug your face tighter for those people not wearing glasses underneath. Some people report being able to see the shuttering of active 3D glasses, and I do feel with certain movies (especially title screens more so than the film itself) that this can be a problem but overall I didn't experience any eye strain or headache with these glasses - pretty good for someone who gets migraines fairly regularly.I'd like to change some things about these glasses but ultimately they provide an excellent 3D experience!

I found the EStar glasses as an excellent replacement for the RF system
Over the years I have invested into the MonsterVision 3DMax system for my 3D viewing accessories. With the failing of that system, I needed to find other alternatives. I found the EStar glasses as an excellent replacement for the RF system. Though EStar has their own transmitter sytem, the glasses work with any Bit Cauldron (BC100) device already out there. The charging mechanism is not a mini USB so you will not confuse the cables with all of your other mini USB cables in your life that may or may not charge well enough. The glasses are lightweight and comfortable and equal to the quality of the 3D Max that we all enjoyed. The only thing that kept the rating from a 5 star is that the thin design of the glasses are not quite as comfortable over regular glasses but acceptable for the 2 hours of watching.

These glasses are the Optoma ZF2100 glasses
I thought they were different from the Optoma's, so for $50.00 I thought I would try a pair to compare, but they are identical. So far I like RF and the latest version of these glasses (EStar or Optoma) the best. Light weight, no image or brightness change when looking off-center. If you have the Monstervision/Optoma/Bit Cauldron RF emitter then give these glasses a try. You can adjust the duty cycle and delay through software and with RF line of sight isn't needed (a nice bonus when you're trying to calibrate the TV in 3d).I don't know about reliability (my Optoma's have functioned fine for over a year), but I highly recommend these cheaper alternatives.

Good for Optoma Projectors
These work fine battery and picture wise. They let light in from the sides that illuminates the lens. That is distracting, I will have to add something on the sides to block the light. They are comfortable. Just like factory Optoma lens.

Great Product but maybe you can find cheaper
Easy to synch, give access to great 3D images (also this depends on your projector brightness) and with a comfort fit on the face. Rechargeable and they can work for a relatively long period before needing to do another recharge. I only sometimes notice an arc shaped light on the top right border of the glasses but this is maybe due to the fact that I wear them on top of my eye glasses. I recommend this product thought I believe that the price could be cheaper.

Nice light weight glasses!
Ordered 3 after seeing how good the Estar RF starter kit was. Only one of the glasses had ghosting when using SBS 3D files. The pair worked OK on other 3D files however and the other glasses had no problems.

No issues
I bought these glasses as an alternative to Optoma's 3D glasses for their projector. They look about identical, and work just as well, for much less cost. They'll also utilize the same charger.

Possible quality control issues?
When these glasses work, they are really great. The pair I received with the transmitter have worked without problem. The first movie I watched was Jurassic Park and I was completely amazed at the quality of the 3D.The reason I am only giving 3 stars is that I also ordered a second pair that didn't work out quite so well. The second pair charged fine and worked initially. But after that, they wouldn't turn on anymore. I tried charging them and the red light would come on to show they were charging, but I couldn't get them to actually turn on again, even plugged in.I figured it was just a bad pair so I returned them and ordered another one. The new pair came and I hooked them up to charge, and instead of the red light coming on to show that they were charging, the blue light came on flashing as if I had turned them on. I held the button down assuming I could just turn them off and the red light would come on to show they were charging, but it wouldn't come on. So I thought maybe they were already fully charged and unplugged them, but then they wouldn't turn on. The second pair doesn't seem capable of taking a charge and will only power on when plugged in.So once again I'm going to have to return them and order another pair and hope for some better luck. I will say that Amazon's return service is great. The UPS man came the next business day and I had my money back within the next couple of days. But I am starting to wonder if there are some quality control issues with these glasses. The other reviews are all very positive, so it is possible I just got unlucky, but I guess I'll see once I get the third pair.
