Bluetooth . . but no iPad App!?!
So as far as a meter goes, it meets minimum needs for a type 1 diabetic with good control --- 3 sec read, no coding, etc.Start-up kit doesn't come with strips -- thats a pretty big miss.No bluetooth sync to iPad (as of May 2013), though i was promised a call or email when the app gets released . . . still waiting.iPads are just a wee bit popular personal electronic devices . . . . how this is not already available is a mystery to me . . . I can't rate higher without this.

Bought this for the wireless feature to track my readings but this is junk. Measurements are 50 points too high compared to other reliable meters. Do not recommend.

Best Glucometer ever
Great meter, very little blood and I really like how it is plasma calibrated. Because of its Bluetooth capability my family can also view my test results and receive alerts when my blood sugar has been very low and their phone calls were a life saver. Also has a great Android phone app.

I love that the results go to my smart phone and can be called back up by date, time of day and before or after a meal. The interface is easy and information can be easily shared with my Dr.
