I never write reviews but I need to with this. I had SWARMS of flies in my yard destroying my grass and didn’t think anything could fix it. I stumbled across this so I got it with no real expectations. I sprayed a light mist on my yard this morning and there are ZERO flies hanging around now. This is good for the money and actually does what it’s supposed to. Good purchase.

Both Bugclear and Home Defense hose ends use the same faulty sprayer. The small 10 cent part that creates the fan spray isn’t fastened on and nowhere to be found in the box, so about half the time the hose end sprayer isn’t usable. Since I bought more than one, there was a bottle that hadn’t lost the fan sprayer, so when that bottle was used up, I pried the part off the bottle & snapped it on the next one. Any rough handling will dislodge the sprayer part and Ortho needs to figure out how to attach it securely.

Really helps in in FL where we have many bugs and this Ortho keeps them at bay. No strong smells, and I sprayed all over the outside of my house and the lawn. Haven't seen much bugs after spraying this, I will repurchase and do it every 4-5 months. I recommend this product.

I bought this primarily to eliminate spotted lantern flies. It didn't seem to impact any of the larva stages, little black with white spots and red with white spots. I sprayed it directly on some and they just walked away. Guess I'll keep using my diluted dish soap spray which kills them after a couple of sprays.

I've had a grasshopper infestation for a couple years,I decided to try this,sprayed about half of it on about700 sq ft. The next day,no grasshoppers! I was gabberflasted! Great buy. Would buy again.

The product itself works just like it always has. BUT and it's a really big BUT the new design of the applicator is horrible! Awkward handle design, cheap on/off lever, and the spray pattern is atrocious. This is definitely ine of those, if it's not broke dont fix it. I bought 5 of these instead of the refills since it was the same per ounce price and I thought i was going to be saving me the hassle of haveung to fill the Gilmore sprayer to apply. But the sprayer that came with it is so terrible i had to use my own sprayer anyway and these new bottles are designed to keep you from opening them so ot made it even worse. All I can say to Ortho is go back to the original design and the same design all the other chemical manufacturers are using.

Before spraying this, if my daughter dropped ANY food in the yard, it was a matter of MINUTES before it was literally completely covered in ants. We couldn't have bird or squirrel feeders because of the slough of ants that would take over! I couldn't enjoy sitting outside because I'm just a 10 minute span I would end up with 8-10 mosquito bites! For the first application, it took 2 bottles for the front yard and 2 bottles for the backyard but that was a small price to pay for the outcome! We can eat outside in peace and watch the birds and squirrels all day now and playing with my 3 year old in the sprinkler for the last 4 days for a few hours at a time and I walked away with ONE mosquito bite!!! This stuff is BEYOND amazing and I plan to continue with the upkeep and use 1 bottle for front/back every 6 weeks to be on the safe side! I feel like I got my life back! Lol
