Besides being aesthetically pleasing, this license plate holder is easy to install and doesn’t vibrate when listening to music. I’ve had it for many years now and I have never had an issue.

3 things I wanted to eliminate with my new car. Prevent scratching from those plastic dealership license plate frames, rattle of the plate when closing the trunk, and a clean look with out any branding. This hits all the check boxes for me on my new car. Had it on for about a year now, through crazy California rains lately, weekly hand car washes, California summer heat and it still looks brand new with out any fading or discoloration of the frame. Would highly recommend this. I'm pretty sure they're all the same on Amazon so it probably doesn't matter, but this was the cheapest. Paired this with some tamper proof license plate screws for a winning combo.

I purchased the 2 pack and was happy that I did.I was looking for a frame that wouldn't intrude where the yearly stickers go, which most frames do. The low profile of these did exactly what I needed.Installing was the difficult part. Being silicone and flexible helped a bit, but the fit was very snug on the plate and took some effort to slide the plate inside, without bending anything. Once it was on, though, it looked great. Also, be sure that the drainage slots are at the bottom of the plate before sliding it in. Once in, I think it'd be even harder to remove.Overall, the frame looks great and does the job.

Very durable

I wanted a simple/basic license cover and this fit the bill. It is made of good material and looks great. It is just a bit snug so getting the plate all the way in took a little bit of work and it might be difficult if I ever want to remove it. I suppose that's good in a way, as the plate is snug and doesn't move around. I'm very please with the purchase and would buy again if I needed another one.

It fits!

The frames are beautiful and well made, however I had a difficult time getting the license plates into the frame because they were so tight. After finally getting them in, both the left and right side of the license plates sort of stick out of the installation slots so that's sort of unsightly. I think if the frames were just a little bit looser, the fit would be perfect, because the silicone would not be stretched. I'm keeping them on the car, but I am a bit dissatisfied with the end result.

My order contained what is pictured. Depending on how your license plates are mounted now, you may need/want to get screws/nuts/bolts at an auto parts store, or re-use the ones you have, so that these will attach properly to your vehicle.The frames appear to be a "filled" silicone. They are stiffer and thinner than, for instance, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0832BWGN5, which appears to be just colored silicone. Not sure if one's better than the other. They sure as heck are different.I can see how people might tear or damage these upon plate installation - my New York plates **just** fit and required some coaxing to center properly. It wasn't bad and that's not a euphemism for some epic installation struggle. It's just that they did not slide right in and with silicones, if you cut or nick a molded item it will easily rip starting from that cut or nick. I stretched the frame outward a little while resting the edge of the plate on a tabletop and pressing the frame down over it. After all, they have to be tight not to rattle. I suggest sanding the edges of your plate a little before installing them in these frames in order to round off the sharp edges of the metal stamping. Any sandpaper from 100 to 400 grit should work for this purpose. I used 220 because I had a small scrap of it from a craft project. Be careful so you don't cut yourself on those edges, they can be very sharp and like paper cuts you won't feel what's going on until it's way way too late.Once assembled the plates install on the vehicle without fuss or bother. The frames seem to get rid of rattle and dampen resonances. I suspect that whether or when they fail depends on how the silicone changes flexibility or color as it ages.[end]
