The Lion Storyteller Bedtime Book

Great stories and engaging illustrations! I purchased this book used because we are interested in Sonlight's curriculum for later years and this was on their P4/5 book list. I wanted a taste of what they put together before we commit to a package later. We've found this book to be a great introduction to longer read-alouds. Our children (5 & 3) are just getting to the age where they'll listen to stories that don't have images for every few sentences. They like the tales in this book and I appreciate that the stories are from different parts of the world. If you are a parent seeking something a little more advanced than the average picture book, I highly recommend this one!

Awesome book. I'm not sure who enjoys more, me, my 4 yr old or my teenager trying to overhear the stories. Each story is unique and interesting.

The stories are nice and not too long for story time for bed.

Beautiful pictures and nice stories.

I really like the vivid illustrations, bright but not overly so for bedtime. I was pleased to find a collection of stories not all from America or Britain, but from many different countries, as the book is going to a library in Asia.

I originally bought this great reader at Dillon's in Cambridge UK and read it to my daughter for many years. A very good friend had a recent arrival in her family and this , although used is a perfect gift. Very prompt shipment and great value.

Short stores to read in 10-15 minutes that are fun and intriguing. The stories have an international flavor that take the reader and listener to another time and place, far, far away. I enjoyed the morals of the stories too. Cute and fun book for all preschoolers.

Great stories to read out to children. There are even suggestions on how to enact these stories in a drama or play format.
