HiRez Portable 7 inch Digital TV Combo

Delivery was prompt and the item looks very good. However, it only receives 1 station. Returning it required too many steps. Would not recommend this purchase for people in my area.

I have tried different places in my home, but the tv still cannot receive any tv signals. I live on an open field in the Hamptons, and really thought this would help with the next "Sandy" or power outage we have here, but so far, no such luck. I found the manual to be lacking in helpful descriptions. I did call the company twice so far, and their agent was very patient, but I still can't get a tv signal. Perhaps sitting on the roof might help???!!... and I have bought the bigger antenna too! Any suggestions from anyone out there, as I could really use a battery-operated tv when the lights go out again?

fairly priced tv with all accessories required. does not receive too well indoors without roof top exterior antenna. decent quality sound. could use a scratch resistance screen cover, will probably be o.k. for emergency useage!..

This is a wonderful little t.v. seller was prompt and very reliable...product is as described. I live in Florida and it was very important to me to have a t.v. that works off of batteries. The picture is Clear and I received 12 digital channels in my area. Can't say enough about this t.v. definite buy.

The antenna that comes with the t.v. does nit work at all and the indoor antenna works o.k. but is four times bigger than the t.v. unit and as a portable tv its useless, and i'm having a hard time returning the hole purchase, I used to think Amazon was a reliable company I'm having second thoughts about that. 1 "HiRez Portable 7"Digital TV combo" 1 Battery Operated Amplified Indoor TV AntennaI've talked to three different people at three different times and am still waiting for a return authorization number and slip to return the products.

The battery compartment door will need to be taped shut, as another reviewer noted. I got this because it was the only one I could find that will run on replaceable batteries during an outage. The rechargeable batteries run only 2 hours or less on a charge. Less if it has been a day or more since they were charged. I don't know how long it takes a fresh set of 8 AAs to run down. I find that having a sturdy object to attach the magnetic antenna to seems more important than location of the antenna. I was surprised the little antenna was able to pick up the stations I can get without having additional amplification. When I connect an amplified rabbit ears to my HDTV, they get nothing without the amplification. You can attach a different antenna with the coaxial input (and Tivax also makes an amplified antenna that runs on 6 AAs).

I feel more comfortable now having a portable radio when it storms. Haven't had to use it in an emergency yet, but works great so far

This is a nice little TV combo unit. The sound volume is a bit low on the TV itself but works well when connected to the aux speakers in the cradle. The only con are the batteries as they do not seem to charge well. Again it all works out when connected to the cradle.
