I bought this screen almost a year ago and waited to review it until I gave it a TRUE PET TEST.. I have quite a few cats, and they love sitting in my windows. I can’t say enough about the durability and strength of this material! With previous materials- including metal, my cats have made holes and even damaged them enough to escape. Thankfully, I was able to eventually get everyone back inside safe. I am currently replacing every screen in my home with this screen. I am so surprised that the price was much cheaper than ALL other kinds I have tried, and the quality is superior. It is very thick but very translucent, giving just enough tint to help keep a bit of the hot sun out. Absolutely love it and 100% recommend to anyone that have “claw happy” family members they want to keep safely inside with the ability to enjoy fresh air.

My 80 pound dog is a little goofy and RUNS head first into my sliding screen door alot. This screen holds up so well that the sliding screen frame pops out the track instead of damaging this screen at all! 10/10

Great screening. Very thick and durable. Easy to work with. Rescreened a patio door in 30 minutes while still in the track.

The only reason I am giving a 4 for this product is that it arrived folded. It should have been rolled. By the time it had been packed and gone through transit it was not just folded, it was creased and those creases do NOT stretch out when framing in the screen with spline. Ironing a screen with a damp steaming cloth was not a step that was enjoyed. The screen itself High quality, tight grid and so far no nail punctures or chew through from angry squirrels. This will be purchase this again, if needed. But, please ship it rolled when ordered.

While I think the “pet-proof” claim on any screen is ridiculous, this screen truly is a step above the replacement screens in most screen replacement kits. After two screen replacement kits failed me by ripping during installation (one from Lowe’s and the other from Amazon), this screen actually finished the job. It’s 2-3 times thicker than most and holds its shape quite well. While the folds are annoying, they’re 100% understandable for shipping purposes. Would recommend for anyone looking for a “high-quality” or “heavy-weight” screen replacement. Just may not be pet proof.

Strong, durable. Used it for the edges on our catio and the cats haven't been able to get out or read the fabric.

Amazing screen for an affordable price!

The screen material was purchased for a porch. Material is well made and much easier to work with than traditional screen. Yes people have complained that the screen comes folded with creases, But...put it in the dryer on low for 10 minutes larger pieces may need a second 10 minute interval. Yes it works..Then just lay it out somewhere to relax overnight...installing this...don't waste your time with a hand stapler or electric stapler, it will not set staple deep and flush. I bought a $34 pneumatic stapler ( arrowhead) set on 90 psi...worked perfect and fast...Another con is I purchased several different sizes and they don't list size on each individual package. As far as durability of screen only time will tell.

This is a close to actually pet-proof as possible. The cats have worked it over some trying to pull open the screen doors or tear the screen like they used to with our aluminum screens. The worst they did was warp or stretch some of the weave in the corner. We have replaced all our screens with this stuff now. Cats: 0, Humans: 1

Great screen for our purposes - section of screened in porch. It seems sturdy, with good visibility. Deducted a star because it was shipped folded rather than rolled - leaving creases that are not obvious or obstructive, but still visible. For the price and quality I would likely buy again though.

Pet proof? They did not test on my pets who broke through in 30 seconds.
