Egg Skelter Duck Egg Blue for Medium to Large Eggs

We love this! It doesn't hold silkie eggs though. It's to large for silkie eggs and they fall right through, another welded price of metal down the center would solve this issue. Can't be that hard. The color is true to picture. I wish in the description it would share what breeds the skelter would work with. It is awesome for our Reds. Like is said, I do wish there was another piece of metal to run down the center of the skelter. This way it would hold all sizes of eggs. It's cute. And that's why we went with this one. We ordered a second one, smaller for our silkie eggs. We ordered it on the 16th of September and still haven't received it. However, when we ordered this one we received it in 10 days from point of purchase.

Pros: way cuter than recycled egg cartons.Cons: pretty much everything else. Our eggs are medium/large (what it recommendedfor this) but they don't roll so you have to move each one and if a couple start to move on their own in the process they hit the supportbar and fall off and crack. I'm afraid this is going back and we are on the hunt for a new egg solution.

Love this thing. The color is great and anyone who sees it comments, 'where did you get this?'. Holds a bunch of eggs but make sure you buy the right size for what your chickens are laying.

I LOVE this but the eggs don't roll down very well. It's still worth it to me to have it because it keeps them organized but I have to "help" the eggs down. Big and small- they all seem to stick. Well, about half of Them.

Perfect in every way.

Looks pretty, seems like it would work. However, eggs do not roll/refill as you pluck one from the bottom. You have to manually move them along. No real point to it, takes up a lot of space in the fridge, wish I hadn't spent the money.
