UPDATE: Camera was replaced at no cost! Amazing customer service!!
UPDATE: Company reached out to me and offered to replace defective camera at no cost. Their customer service is amazing, and I was truly impressecd with them, especially knowing that the camera was out of warranty by only a month. I didn't even have to send back the old camera, which I thought was a nice gesture as well. Definitely going to stay with this company in the future, and buy from them again!!This is my fifth PTZ Wireless camera, but the first time that I have tried this brand of camera. Here are the PROS and CONS that I have been able to see: (Knocked the 5th star off because of the lack of a manual focus!!)PROS:Amazing zoom! This thing is worth it, just for the 20X zoom. Truly amazing!!Great night vision! Of all 5 of my cameras, this one has the best night vision.Amazing picture! The video quality is beyond good, and has to be seen to believe how crisp and clear it is.Software is decently good. For the price, the software is pretty good and offers some nice features.Microphone and Speaker work well. Both are built into the camera and work very good.Wireless has caused no problems. Camera is about 35 feet from router, including three walls and no problems yet.CONS:Automatic focus works, but no option to manually focus is a problem, A BIG PROBLEM! Let me really get into this one! This is the only camera that I have, which will not allow you to manually focus into anything. The camera will automatically focus when it stops or zoom in and out, but if you use the 20X zoom feature, this automatic focus is a JOKE!! The camera does not know what to focus on, so the picture ends up being blurry. You either have to zoom back out and hope that it focuses on it's own, or just be happy with not zooming into anything past 10X or 11X. This is also a problem at night with the IR lights on. It has a hard time focusing at night, so a lot of the picture you want clear, is blurry, as it's trying to focus on whatever it wants too. This has really been a problem, as having no manual focus can be very disappointing with a camera that has a picture quality of this level. I almost returned it, the problem is that bad! I cannot believe you can't do something as simple as a manual focus on this camera. All of my other PTZ cameras have the option to manually focus on an object/area. This will be one of the main reasons this camera will be returned by customers!!Zoom level causes camera to zoom into lower area of view. If you are trying to zoom into anything far away, the camera will zoom past the horizon, and you cannot see it. Again, there is no way to pan or tilt the camera up past a certain zoom level, after you zoom in. You can only zoom into things that are eye level with the camera or below the field of view. Forget zooming into the sky! It just won't work!! Unless you mount the camera upside down.Wireless gave me problems at first, but seemed to correct itself. The camera's wireless signal was going from fair to no connection so fast, that you couldn't do anything with the camera, like moving it, seeing a picture, or even having a connection to the router. For whatever reason, this cleared up after I did a factory reset on the camera, and connected to my router a second time. For the most part, this camera is the best one I have so far. Picture quality, 20X zoom, built in mic and speaker, and everything else, is worth the price. I think that I would probably try a different brand if I bought another PTZ camera, because of this camera not having a manual focus. But again, based on what it does offer, the price is more than fair for all of the other features that comes with this camera.

Awesome camera; tips to help you get set up
Stunning picture! I bought one of these cameras, and I am blown away by how clean, crisp and colorful the picture is. If an outstanding view is what you are looking for, this is the security camera for you. I love this thing.I read so many reviews and came away with this impression: technology awesome; instructions miserable. I took a look at the manual that came in the box, and have to agree. Unless you are pretty tech-savvy, I would opt for more help. I purchased an outside soffware program, Blue Iris, and am glad I did. Blue Iris takes you step-by-step through the setup process, and their 238 page pdg manual gives you a good education in the ins and outs of security camera networking. They touch on all aspects you need to be aware of (ie: Your cable company may change your ISP address on occation, which messes with your setup. BI tells you how to set up automatic updates so you don't have to worry about it) The software interface is very easy to understand, and I feel comfortable with it by day 2.No, I am not in any way affiliated with or paid by Blue Iris, I just hope this helps other beginners hoping to set up a really cool, really useful security camera system for their home/property. I have heard that BI tech support is poor, and I have already sent one (unanswered) email to them. I will update this review when I have more experience with them.TIP: If your cable company gave you a Modem-Router, where the modem provides ports for hardwired computers/devices as well as wifi, you might run into a problem. These modem-routers are becoming more and more common (you do not need a separate router to set up a small home network (LAN).) The problem is, you can't get a list of all the devices in your network so you can't tell during setup when your camera is recognized by your network. The cable company has this info, but you don't, unless you can query your (separate) router. So give your cable company a call and don't hang up until you have the numbers you need, and write down step by step how YOU can access this information again. (Before you call, you will need to have your Default Gateway IP Address handy.)Back to the Jide Tech camera; it is absolutely loaded with desirable features at a great price; including auto and manual focus, built-in 2-way audio, 5MP resolution (like I said, stunning), PTZ (pan, tilt and 20x optical zoom- not digital, awesome night vision with infrared, automatic tours, presets, built-in SD slot up to 128GB, ONVIF compliant, compatible with Chrome and IE browsers on desktop/laptop/smartphone, compatible with 3rd Party Software (iSpy, Milestone, Blue Iris), remote access and control of camera via smartphone or other IOs or Android devices, push alarms to your remote devices, waterproof with IP66 rating, responsive email support.)
