Harney & Sons Organic Green Iced Tea with Citrus & Gingko, Fresh-Brew, 6ct tin

I’ve been drinking Tejava unsweetened iced tea for about 25 years. I used to get it at Trader Joe’s but they stopped selling it so I paid double to get it from Amazon. That’s how dedicated I am to iced tea. One day I stopped at a specialty store and drank a bottle of Harvey and Sons unsweetened black tea. I thought it was great. Better than Tejava. It has a bold taste that’s not bitter but just like tea with nothing added. Tejava can taste bland at times. I’m now a convert and saving money by buying the bags, brewing to my specifications to make sure it’s strong but not bitter. Steeping a bag in two cups of boing water for 30 minutes and adding four cups of cold water. This deviates from what H and S recommend but I just like it strong. I also purchased two mason jar pictures so the tea is always on hand. I recommend any iced tea addict to give this a try.

Sized just right for our container. I made the first batch as sun tea; I discovered the tea flavor is more intense when made with hot water. My hard-to-please teenage son craves iced tea, and this one is a winner.

Love this tea but would like to be able to get it without the tin. Feels very wasteful to get another tin with each order.

I have tried other tea brands, and harney and sons is the BEST! you will not be disappointed! for tea lovers, go for quailty! the tin is beautiful for gift giving!

Good, but no astringency, and not alot of body.

Some of the other reviews from 2015 said that this tea is expensive. However, I was buying at least one trenta iced tea from Starbucks every day which was $3.13. With the Harney & Sons, I get 2 trenta-sized iced teas from a single tea bag, at under $0.85 per iced tea. Much less expensive than getting iced tea from Starbucks, especially if you drink a lot of iced tea throughout the day. Also, this tea is consistently good 100% of the time, whereas about 10% of the time the Starbucks iced tea doesn't taste right, depending on how it was made. This tea tastes delicious, and it has no added flavors so it's perfect for making a big batch of tea when having people over. The only downside is that it takes 15 minutes to steep, but it's worth the wait.

Tasty but one of the bags tore

I have been searching for the perfect iced tea to make at home and I can finally stop looking. This tea is amazing!! I made exactly by the directions on the tin and it works out to be about $1.66 for 55 ounces of tea. It is a beautiful color and the taste can’t be compared. Perfect!
