this istem did not exactly fit my chair but it sufficed. I probably wouldn't buy it again for this chair.

Works with two different sizes stems. Good engineering Great look, You gently hammer the wheels on. It is easy. Great Engineering Works Great. Could be long lasting Gently hammer on the stems and wheels . Two sizes of stems Outstanding

They are made from a lightweight plastic. I was actually expecting something a bit more heavy duty.

I bought my chair from office max a couple of holiday seasons ago and the chair is in excellent shape. Except that one of the wheels broke. I could not find any casters that would work for my chair. These work perfectly. I think I did still have to use the stems from the old wheels, but everything works great.

Wheels come with two sizes of pegs. The normal pegs with size "7/16 x 7/8 inch stems" seem to be the right size. However, I was buying this to use the other pegs which claim to be "3/8 x 1 inch stems"Using a caliper I found that these stems are a bit smaller than 3/8 inch diameter, and they are *significantly* shorter than 1 inch long stems. This is very obvious when you compare the length of the two stems in the same package (see picture here comparing). The picture is of the two stems in this pack, one claims to be 7/8inch long, and the other claims to be 1inch long. However, you can see that they are almost exactly the same length.This causes the wheels to not lock into the chair like they are supposed to. They just slide into the hole but if you lift the chair the wheels fall out. This means that you would have to slide them into each foot without lifting the chair in order to try to use them.I have no idea if this pack works for the 7/16 stems, I don't have a chair like that to test.Looking into returning these and continuing my eternal quest to find casters with the right size stems.

Snapped right into place and very sturdy, could not find anything this good at Home Depot or Lowes

The stems do not lock into their slots: Stem-to-chair is a little small, and it is difficult to expand the adjustable ring. Stem-to-wheel is excessively difficult to squeeze in (even after hammering). Wheels rotate smoothly but will disconnect if chair is lifted.
