LCD Hinge Screen Hinges 33.Q28N2.002 Replacement for Acer Nitro 5 AN515 AN515-41 AN515-51 AN515-53 Predator Helios 300 PH315-51 G3-571 G3-572

Fits perfectly in my acer predator helios 300 - g3-571-77qk and in great condition. Much appreciated.

A suitable replacement since the OEM pieces were not fully functional any longer.The Acer Predator Helios that I have had an issue where the portion of the hinge that extends up the bezel broke. I found these hinges and decided to replace them myself. I applied JB Weld to several locations on the bezel-portions of the hinges where the previous hinges broke and other possible locations where the structure would be stressed; see the attached image for JB Weld locations. The JB Weld was allowed to cure overnight before installing the hinges. I also applied Locktite to the screws when I installed the new hinges since on the original pieces, the screws became loose over time.Cons:-The portion of the hinge intended to hold tension does not feel strong upon initial installation and the screen feels very flimsy until you tighten the hinge nut.Pros:-Most components of these hinges matched the OEM parts (e.g. bezel-support, screws, etc.)-After about a year, the hinges haven't broken.**Edited to update after tightening and lubricating the hinge nuts. The tension of the hinge improved after tightening each hinge nut, but you’ll still need to JB weld the hinge and bezel areas and locktite the screws in order to prevent breakage.
