Perennial Farm Marketplace Miscanthus s. 'Morning Light' (Variegated Maiden) Ornamental Grass, Size-#1 Container, Green

I ordered two of the grasses and they came packaged well and very healthy (first picture). I gave them 2 weeks to acclimate before I planted them and watered daily. One month later and you’ll see in the last picture that they’re growing and doing really well! Would purchase again!

I later removed the little nests around them (I didn't know if I should or not.). The plants are larger and healthier than I expected them to be. Even for mid July, the weather in Ohio is very hot. When I stayed at a hotel recently, I wanted grass plants like the ones outside my window. Through a few searches, I found these.I'm not a pro gardener or anything. They were easy to plant, and seem to be adjusting well. I used Scott's Moisture Control potting soil both underneath and around them. I hope that these get to be 5 to 6 feet or even taller (They'll help to add privacy in front of our front walkway.).

I received 2 of these, and they never grew. A waste of money.

Came well packaged and look very healthy.

I may have planted them too late last fall, but these are growing VERY slowly. Some still look much more dead than living. One of the 10 is completely dead. I hope they recover. There are some green strands showing signs of life but not the resilient, flourishing grasses I hoped they would be at this point.
