Great bulbs. We’ve tried quite a few for this light fixture & these are by far our favorite. They are 3000k which makes them a perfect color & brightness for our bathroom. Also love that they are frosted so they don’t blind you when they are on.

I bought a new light fixture for my dining room that is intended for use with Edison bulbs to get that traditional appearance. When searching for LED Edison bulbs, I kept running into three issues: 1) bulbs were very "warm" and very dim, 2) other bulbs were "cool"/"bright"/"daylight," and 3) bulbs were not dimmable. This set solved those problems. We have dark walls with white wainscoting and the dim bulbs barely light the rooms and the "cool" bulbs are so harsh that if someone accidentally glances at one, they nearly go blind. However, with most LEDs, they are extremely bright and even the "warm" and "soft" bulb temps can be harsh. The frosted coating on these helps to diffuse the light without really losing much brightness, allowing for them to light the room without making guests want to avoid looking up from their plate. These also work very well with our Lutron dimmer switch.

I really like the frosted look of these -- they help cut down on the glare from bulbs that are at eye level. However, they are just a little too yellow (3000k) for my tastes, so I alternated them with some regular 4000k bulbs for a little more brightness. I would prefer the frosted ones; I just wish they came in a slightly brighter color.One side note: there is a weird optical illusion that happens. When you look at the bulb, you think you see a "seam" where one element is a different color than the one next to it. But as you look at it from a different angle, the difference shifts to the new element. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but when I first saw it, it bothered me. Now I'm used to it. But it does make me wonder if visitors see that difference and think it looks weird.

I highly suggest getting these bulbs if you have clear shades on your light fixtures. They won’t blind you while looking at them.

How dangerous are these bulbs? Out of nowhere, while a toddler was standing somewhat underneath the light fixture the bulb was in, it just exploded causing glass shards to fly everywhere. Thank goodness we found the glass in her hair before she did or that it did not take out her eyes. ! It is an open light fixture eight feet off the ground and we bought these bulbs because they were supposed to be low glare. Lucky no one was hurt. Two stopped working within a few weeks of service in other lamps and the sellers refunded us for those two. Never had these issues with LED bulbs ever until buying these. Absolutely waste of our money. What are the chances that three out of six would be defective?

This review is for the soft white frosted bulbs. I have bought and returned several different bulbs from this seller and we finally found the right ones! They most closely match our previous 9.5W 2700K 800 lumen LED bulbs but look much better in our farmhouse chandelier. The light is much more evenly distributed and easier on the eye than the non-frosted ones. It is a soft white, not too yellow and not too blue. There is no delay when you turn them on. Love them. Will be installing a dimmer so I can't comment on the dimming feature yet.

You would think it wouldn’t be difficult to find large full glass frosted bulbs. It wasn’t easy. Work and look great.

These bulbs are just what we needed. The bulbs that came with our new light fixture were blinding to the eyes. We did some research and found these frosted Edison bulbs. They are just the right brightness and easy on the eyes. I’m very happy with these bulbs.
