Did not turn my hair yellow which was all I wanted. I used extra vastaline around my edges and scalp before using as it does burn. Also used bantu no grey conditioner

All the natural people said I could go longer between relaxers if I found the right products. Never mind that my mother couldn't even comb my hair if it wasn't pressed. Anyway, for 6 months I have not relaxed my hair hoping to uncover some glorious coarse hair. After 6 months and every natural product on the planet, my hair could not be combed unless it was wet. I finally decided to try to find a relaxer. I hesitated for weeks after purchasing this product afraid it would have that chemical smell and be difficult to use. To my surprise, the product was easy to use and had no smell. My hair is not super straight but at least now I can comb it.

works great i am a Dominican guy got some thick curly hair my girlfriend told me to use this to make it more straight and it works amazing just need to keep away from scalp cause it did burn my scalp and left scabs but my hair was straight !

An excellent product for those looking for a mild relaxer to detangle thick coarse hair. I have been using it for 15+ years after I damaged my hair wearing a Jeri-curl. I only need to use it every 2-3 months.
