Rollergard Hockey Skate Guard, One Size Fits All

My kids love these things, and I love how they stop my kids from annoying me between tournament and jamboree games. Plus, they get to skate around before games with their friends, getting warm and loose for game time. While expensive, they're made very well and I haven't had a single durability issue.

I bought those guards for my 8 years old son. He loves his new roller guards. Pros; Nice design, very solid. adjustable to any size. His teammates want them. Fun to use. Con; Hard to stop. Using only a couple of minutes, between car to the locker room. My son loves using them but it's really short time. Once he gets to the locker room he takes them off. I don't know it's worth it if you are using them as guards. It's fun but sometimes dangerous. Use them with caution. I don't let him use them when we visit a new ice rink since we don't know if there is steep or steps. You have to be careful when you use them for the first time. It's hard to stop. Put your name on, black one is popular than others.Your teammates might have same one. Overall, I'm satisfied with this rollergars. Hope my growing son uses them for years to come.

Fantastic creation for those of you who might be into ice skating or having little ones involved in the sport as I do. Tough for kids to walk around on the blades.....and even the form-fitting covers that fit over the blades can sometimes cut the user. These are a real blessing for a parent or grandparent.

Bought these for my teenager so he didnt have to take his skates off in between games. He says they glide easily and carry his 130 lbs but it is hard to turn in them. Probably perfect for a younger kid or a lazy teenager like i have. haha

We bought these months ago for my sons new hockey skates. Not only are they fairly simple to put on, but these rollers allowed him to break in his skates faster and improve his skating ability exponentially because he was always wearing them. The instructions do say to cut the extra portions of the skate guard, but we kept it on so that they can be used with his next pair of skates, and the extra bits at the back of his skates made his ice skating easier because he was now skating without it more freely - almost like the donut they put on bats in the on deck circle, or ankle weights for basketball players.

I was on the fence about buying this Rollergard Ice Skate Guard but having seen it on another kid after hockey practice I thought, why not? It's a little expensive at $59.99 but it's still cheaper and better than buying a dedicated roller skate that my son will outgrow within a year or less. So this was a nice alternative option. Because it has 4 wheels, it is more stable and less like skating than a normal roller blade but the fact that you can just throw this into your hockey back and put it on immediately after practice is perfect. I'm glad we got it and will be using it for years. Update. It's been a while but I finally got photos of him using it. He was a little nervous at first because it glides really quickly and he's not too sure how to stop. There is a runner ball on the back of the right skate that he's learning to use. He also has little feet so the roller skate is a bit too long but he's getting it!

Got this as a gift for my brother and he loved it. It's super easy to slip onto your skates and use for street hockey, practice in the garage or going to hockey practice.

These roller blade skate guards are a must have for before games! The girls love to come early to the rink just to roller blade around. Great quality, highly recommend.
