My only criticism is that the answers are right below the problems. Making it easy to cheat which should not be a consideration. I think the answers should be at the end of each topic. Review: Simple and to-the point guide - Great, well pointed guide to the basics of physics. Gives good intuition before introducing formulas, and the questions along the way are generally a helpful check of understanding. Very little/simple math involved - you're basically plugging in numbers and doing very basic algebra for what they give you. Would recommend for anyone looking to get a good introduction to the subject.

Just Arrived
Just arrived in the mail, corners were worn out on the book upon arrival. But overall interested to dive into the book, it’s like a study guide with mini test to help you grasp the basics of physics. Cheaper to purchase here than in store.

Great self-learning physics book.
If you want to learn more of the mathematical and equational aspects of Physics, then this book is for you. It's part textbook, part workbook. It has lots of pictures, graphs, visual explanations, and each section has study questions to reinforce what you just read. The only thing that I really really really do not like about this book, is that the answers to the questions are literally right under the questions, so I have to cover them up so I don't accidentally peek. I like to just read the questions, reference the reading material again if I need too, do the math, figure it out, and then see if I am right or wrong and how far off I was if at all. If they would change that, the book would be perfect. Great for individuals that are want more insight to the subject of Physics. If you do not like math, do not get this book. You need basic math skills (high school/pre-algebra) to fully grasp this book and be able to spend time solving the math, not researching how to read the math to solve the math!

A great beginners' guide to physics
I bought this book for my granddaughter, who will be in ninth-grade physics next school year. She wasn't exactly excited to see this "gift" because it's still summer break, but I think it will be a strong help to her when things in class aren't always understood. I may even learn something myself.

A Refresher, not a self-teaching book.
Everyone learns differently and this is new to me completely, never took it in high school or anything. By the 10th page they stop showing their work and just give you the answers(which you should cover up quickly after reading the initial problems). Being able to see their work and the placement of everything allowed me to reverse it to better understand how they came to the final answer. I believe a self teaching guide should stress repetition and consistency, so suddenly not showing the equations was discouraging, especially if you were stuck with no way to quickly reference why or how they came to that answer. Equations are the ultimate explanation , why take those away when someone is trying to follow along and self teach? Huge downfall in my lame opinion, to take away the equations for people to dissect on how to write the equation, and familiarize oneself with physics.
