Here's a few detailed reasons why I like this shirt:
Just received my Dri-Duck Element Nano shirt in the Redwood color. Nice! The build quality seems fine as the older Columbia shirt it is replacing. Some reviewers are disappointed in the light weight, but I find these thinner shirts perfect for indoor hangouts, and a nice second layer outdoors or singly under a down jacket. The 100-weight fleece is very lightweight, almost featherweight compared to the thicker Lands End and Eddie Bauer versions. This means extremely packable, and I do a lot of that. The seams appear well finished. Zipper is nice, the zipper's pull handle is capped in black thermoplastic so it will not gouge the fabric in the washer.I turn these garments inside out and zip the shirt all the way up when washing with Jeans or anything with metal findings. That way they won't develop surface distortions or funky zippers over time. Hmm, Funky Zippers. Good band name. The Redwood color is more like dark a deep Rust (see: http://amzn.to/1QQFgqi for an idea of the actual color). It can be said that this line is not as highly-finished and well-fitted a garment as a the expensive Ratagonia, Mountain Harrdon or Arcterytops shirts, but at these prices, I'll can afford to own three.

Creatures, look at me!!!!!
Is it wrong to dress so nice in the woods? I don't know, but I have been very happy with the quality of this nano fleece pullover. I must admit that I had never of Dri-Duck prior to this purchase. I plan to buy more. Nano, I believe, is in reference to how thin the fleece itself is. Some might interpret this as cheap, but it's held up nicely so far. I paid around $25 on Amazon for it in "driftwood" color. I wear it on my primitive camping trips in the Fall & Winter. The sizing runs standard. I wear a large, ordered a large and it fits properly. The zipper is of descent quality. Overall, it is a good value for the fit and durability. It works well as a light wind breaker. In the south, it's perfect. Looks nice, feels nice. Behold, creatures of the forest! Glory in my fleece!(LOL)

Nice shirts
Very nice shirts. Thinner for "in the house" wearing, and not really made for the cooler outdoors, but very nice-looking and feeling. Be Careful of the Redwood color, though, because it shows as a cranberry, but it is actually more orange, like a "Sierra", or "Brick". Had hoped for a red for Christmas for my Dad, but will keep the shirt anyway, because it really is nice. Sizing is good.

warm and lighweight
I bought this for a backpacking trip into the mountains. It is very light and packs up nice and small, but kept me warm with nothing more than a short-sleeve shirt under it down to the mid-40s. Also dries quickly when wet, and still provides warmth. The driftwood color wasnt quite what the picture showed. It's basically brown.

... green 2XL a couple of years ago and really like this shirt
Bought the forest green 2XL a couple of years ago and really like this shirt. Light weight and great for layering and its held up nicely to washing -- no pilling whatsoever. I'm 6'6" 250 lbs and the 2XL fits me perfectly.Just ordered the navy blue; really wanted a red 2XL, and have been checking regularly for it to show up on Amazon, but to date, no luck. I checked the DRI DUCK website and they had it, but with shipping, it was $44...too much!!

I wouldn't wear this one for free!
I sent these back. Purchased them as a gift for b/f and they were so thin it was embarrassing! I didn't expect that much due to the price as you do get what you pay for but this was beyond ridiculous. It was not worth the postage. The reason people buy fleece is for comfort and warmth, it doesn't hurt if they are appealing to the eye either. From now on regarding fleece I will not buy online if I can't feel it, I don't buy it.It has happened to other fleece products they change every year they tend to get thinner, but we are talking about this product better off to put two $25.00 shirts together and get one for $50.00 that you can actually wear. This product offers nothing more then a picture of a nice shirt, in reality there is no shirt its almost invisible.

Good looking.
Good looking and soft. Fabric seems a little thin, not for winter days outdoors. I bought it as an early Christmas gift for my husband. It fits well. We will see if it wears well. Although I like to actually see a shirt before buying, but this turned out well.

Dri-Duck Nano Fleece
I have ordered 4 of these. After receiving the first 2, my husband loves them. They are light soft fleece, not heavy & so far have washed & dried well using the dryer. They've kept their shape so far so fingers crossed they will survive 2 winters. The Nano fleece quality is very good and they look sharp. The colors are fairly true to what shows on Amazon. They were shipped promptly.
