BosmereL451 Irrigatia C24 Automatic Watering Irrigation System, Solar Powered Plant Waterer

Literally, for the plants. I ran this from our rain barrel to our hanging baskets. We travel quite a bit, so keeping hanging baskets watered and alive is a challenge every year. This thing solves that problem in spades. Honestly, my biggest complaint is that it works TOO well - the watering frequency is determined by how much sun it gets, and in July/August, this gets so much sun that it could probably run half as often without any trouble. So, my advice is, unless you live in the true desert, place this somewhere that only gets half a day of direct sunlight.The only other thing to be aware of is that the pump isn't quiet. It's not terrible, but you can definitely hear it from 10-20 yards away, including inside the house if it's attached to an exterior wall (maybe this would be better if the wall was wood-frame, rather than brick/masonry).

Like some other reviews, the pump on the unit quit working two-three weeks into use. I emailed the company (in the UK) and a replacement pump was sent with no trouble what-so-ever. We'll have to see the longevity on the replacement pump to see but, the product works as advertised and considering that fact, I would recommend.

Despite the reviews, I ordered this for our raised garden I just built and it's been working great so far! Really wanted to get a solar based irrigation system and with no running water where the raised garden is located, it seemed like there weren't many options. I did run into some questions during the install but when I emailed Irrigatia, they were super fast to respond and help out. A couple of things that tripped me up and might help others here.1. I had a bad battery in the unit and didn't know until I tested them. The light was blinking per the instructions but the pump would not run. After emails back and forth with Irrigatia, I found that the light will still blink (with regular sequences) even if there's a dead battery in there.2. The unit comes with two water sensors. One goes above the little water cage and one below. I think the manual just references one water sensor.3. Speaking of water, I picked up a bucket from Home Depot to keep water in and drilled a hole in the lid to feed the sensor into it. Working great.3. When I finally got it working, it was loud! Ran for at least 6 hrs on the first run before it settled into its routine. Seemed like it was running on setting #5 at first. I have it set to #3 now and when it runs, it is still loud but it's only running every 3 hrs now.I think that's about it. We might setup another raised garden and I would definitely put one of these in there if we do!

Perfect. Bought this for our rain barrel to irrigate 12 plants in our raised bed. Setup was fairly easy. I had to use the syringe to prime it initially as described in the manual for first start troubleshooting. It is great that it comes as a kit with all necessary pieces. It has worked flawlessly for a few days since. Will update if I have issues.Honestly.... I bought a refurbished model here because I wasn't so sure it would work based on some bad reviews online. Looking back thru them I'm pretty sure a lot of people are buying them expecting something much different and bigger. If you have something like a rain barrel and a small vegetable garden this is awesome. Look at the recommended number of spouts and distance, I'm pretty sure if you exceed it this won't work well. It is well tuned for what they give you.I was really surprised how great this is and how well it works. Im not a review person but this thing made me want to.

Over priced and does not work. I followed the instructions for two and it did not pump any water. Total piece of junk

The 24 unit only comes with 12 dippers. The tubing and dippers are non-standard size you can't add using parts from HD or Lowes. The unit works and is keeping my higher bed minimally watered for the winter when I can't use water from a hose. It is limited in power though and can not put out enough water to serve in warmer months in my greenhouse.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I built a vegetable garden bed on top of a reservoir of water. I ordered the L451 for the larger solar panel. Up here in the Pacific NW, our direct sunlight can be limited at times. So having the larger panel was a plus. This is my first time,. and LOW maintenance is the desired goal for this garden. Having it's own watering system, My veggies are going crazy! Neighbors are very impressed. The only draw back to this kit is the lack of drippers. I wish they would have giving more. They are propriety to this kit. I had to add extra drippers via Rain Bird. The Rain Bird is set to use 1/4 tubing. this kit comes with slightly small tubing. 5 or 6mm is my guess. so I had to stretch the tubing some to get it to fit Rain Bird drippers. (I used a small bolt and nut. -- contact me if you need help with this) over all I have about 20 drippers, and it's supplying enough drip on level "5" to keep my planting bed of soil moist at all times.

Works well. I can now water deeply when needed. It takes care of the plants when the post gets dry.

I set this up for my tomato plants in a greenhouse in Alberta Canada and it watered on and off all day!I had a neighbour check on my garden when I was gone for a week. After I got back, she brought her friends over to tour my tomato jungle room! With the consistent watering, this product helped get some of my indeterminate plants to 9 feet! Extremely happy with it!!Glad I purchased two!

Purchased this prior to going on holiday so needed something to water the plants whilst we were away. Set up was easy enough but for some reason the pump would not work Immediately contacted Irrigatia Support and was in contact with George who immediately diagnosed a faulty pump and sent me a new pump which arrived the next day. I fitted it which was dead easy. System works fine but i think my water butt is too small because after 7 days away it was nearly empty. I used all the drippers but needed more but it was too late to order extras from Irrigatia so i fitted third party drippers which worked but they need to have an ajustable flow rate as if its to high it will affect the other drippers.This is a great little system and Irragtia's support is second to none!

The media could not be loaded.  I love to grow plants but am absolutely useless at remembering to water them regularly, no matter how hard I try! I've been playing with different options for a while and finally came across this system. Absolutely in love with this system. The fact that you don't need a power socket and you don't need a mains pressure tap really helps make this system a real winner for my balcony garden!I used freshly boiled water to help soften the tube ends which makes it easier to insert the drippers and t-pieces and ensures a tight seal once they've cooled and shrunk again.I have 2 drippers each on 3 medium balcony boxes and 4 drippers at the top of a felt vertical herb garden (so 10 in total so far). I will be getting the dripper extension kit as I have 2 hanging baskets, a climbing plant and some sunflowers I'd like to have automatically watered!I accidentally put the non-return-valve (the blue 'dripper') on the inlet rather than the outlet because I wasn't paying attention so the system didn't work initially. Luckily I figured it out and when I put it on the outlet it worked perfectly so I'm really happy.I had a moment's panic after work as I hadn't watered the plants in the morning before leaving and had forgotten about the system. When I got back the system was busy dropping away and everything was well watered without supervision. Absolutely incredible and precisely what I was after!I got a pre-opened, return package with damaged box at cheaper cost which helped to afford the system as it's very expensive. The system seems to work absolutely fine and nothing is missing so definitely worth it!

ne ho comprati 2 per il mio orticello, dopo nemmeno 1 anno si sono rotti entrambi, la pompa interna si è rotta non funzionava più ho sostituito la pompa e dopo pochi mesi rotta pure quella. Basta con me hanno chiuso anche se devo dire che l 'idea era comoda e funzionale, ma il prodotto non vale i soldi spesi.
