It fits in the bow of my Perception Pescador Pilot 12 perfectly. I keep items I rarely need to access in it and it works great.

My Kayak came with this case. Unfortunately, I assumed it would be waterproof...it is a kayak after all. I threw it in the closet and have no use for it. Save your money.

I can see where sit on top paddlers, ones with open wells or those in conditions with a lot of spray might not like this product but it is perfect for my use. I paddle mostly on a fairly small river and occasionally on lakes. This pod offers little for a nuisance tree branches to snag like they can a taller object such as a milk crate. It was perfect for stashing things you might want readily on hand like garments or extra water bottles. I saved myself more than half the going rate by finding one that was barely used on Ebay.

I use mine as a backrest in my kayak. Works great!

I needed a hard case for the Kayak deck. Used the factory deck bungee straps with new clips to hold the pod down. Pleased with the pod overall. It will hold snacks, B$$r, water, cloths, any gear for a day out on the kayak. Wrap gear in another dry bag as the pod is not waterproof, but it does shed splash water fine. My buddy has two on his kayak and they have held up well over cpl seasons. The shoulder strap and carry handle are nice bonus when on shore for some recon or leisure time.

Fits nicely into rear section of kayak. Shoulder strap is handy. With some flexibility you can access the storage while seated. It has 2 zippered openings for one large compartment. Perhaps the only improvement would be dividing the entire compartment into 2 sections with a small compartment separated from the main one. This way small items in the accessible opening would stay within reach while seated.

I disliked that this is misrepresented. I thought there would be two separate compartments.As you can see at the top it looks like a small area with a zipper. I thought then I could put my wallet or glasses , keys etc. And the the other area for bigger items.However it is only one big compartment.

Nice hard case. Good size. Only issue is it didn't work for me because i needed a harder shell case. It would not hold up to my tight bungee cords.

Looks nice but not functional. These soak up water like a sponge so you have to individually freezer/zip lock bag everything.
