Suction cup mishapen
The overall quality is sub par. The tightening screws and twist to tighten fittings are very loose. You can screw them down tight then they just loosen up immediately. The suction cup was badly mishapen as if it had been melted, it is impossible to attach it to a surface. So it's pretty much useless, don't buy. I bought it for a trip in taking and now there is so time to replace it.

Junk
Didn't last a day. Has an inner plastic piece that cracked then made the suction base fall off. Don't let these folks get your hard earned money by selling you a POS.

Well Built but Pricey
I put the XSories to the ultimate test - a theme park. Despite it metal construction, the XSories is surprising light and compact. I carried it around all day in my front pocket and didn't even notice it as I went on ride after ride. When it was time to photograph my family, it was easy to extend and affix my point and shoot camera with the universal screw mount. (I didn't bring the suction cup or magnet mount that come with the XSories.) Once affixed, my camera was safe and secure because the stick locks in place with a twist of the stick. The XSories comes with a magnet mount and suction cup mount that affix to the base of the stick. They suffice for mostly vertical use, and whether the stick will support your camera when the stick is using one of the mounts while extended at a horizontal angle will be dependent on the weight of your camera. I don't own a DLSR, but the reviews here seem to indicate that a DLSR is too heavy for such a use.Overall, I really like the XSories because of its light weight, quality construction. I am concerned, however, about its price relative to other monopods. I really like this monopod, but it has a significant drawback - its price. If you search Amazon with the phrase "monopod selfie stick," you will see a plethora of other selfie sticks, many designed for smart phones (with holding brackets) and others designed for both phones and stand alone cameras. When I performed such a search, I could only find a few sticks that approached or exceeded the asking price for this monopod. I would recommend researching carefully to make sure you only purchase what you really need in a monopod. If you are a casual shooter and will only be using a point and shoot, there may be cheaper alternatives that will meet your needs.

Can't Trust This. . .
When I saw this I thought it would be a great addition to my camera gear. The description says it's good for DSLRs and up to six pounds. After opening and inspecting this monopod system I reluctantly tried my ultra-compact Sony WX9 camera on this mounting system. My conclusion is I can't and won't trust this rig with my WX9 let alone my much heavier mirrorless Fuji gear. The padded extendable main monopod shaft consists of three sections that are secured with a twist. It's easy to not torque the sections hard enough for them to unexpectedly collapse while you're trying to take a picture. The ball-head mounts, this system comes with two, are fairly smooth metal on metal construction. Alarmingly these have no secure locking system. You simply use your thumb to engage a friction locking system. All it takes is a tap to cause the ball-head to be completely free moving. I would never trust a camera I liked on these mounts. There are two feet that come with this set. A rubber edged magnetic mount and a suction cup -The magnet is too small for a secure mount. With the monopod vertical and not extended it was reasonably stable. Horizontally it felt unsafe set up in any configuration. Extending the monopod drastically increases the ease with which this tips over. The magnet is just not wide enough to be stable. The suction cup mount was surprisingly strong but like every other securing point in this rig the slide to release the mount does not lock in place. It's just too easy to hit the release while trying to set things up. I had thought I could mount this low on the car to get some interesting video but after trying this out I'd be worried road vibration would cause this to release and drop the camera. In conclusion: While the materials are of decent quality this system lacks security. I won't risk my cameras on it.

Expensive and not quite dependable.
Holy crap this thing is expensive. It's a selfie stick. Um, not sure I'd pay $80 for a selfie stick when I can go to Big Lots and buy one for $10.And is 19" long enough for a selfie stick? Seems kind of short to me.Though it seems aesthetically pleasing, it's lightweight, and put together well, I would still say it's definitely not made for heavier cameras. Don't risk it. Plus the locking system isn't very reliable. I have a Sony and a Cannon, and would never mount my Cannon on this thing. Even mounting the Sony is questionable and it's a very small, lightweight camera. The two bases, a suction cup and a magnet, in my opinion aren't very reliable either. The description says they can each support 6 lbs. I don't believe it for a second. The magnet isn't big enough to keep the system from falling over. The suction cup worked well, but it's a suction cup and you're entrusting your electronic on it. Not for me.I guess what I'm saying is that there are probably better products that are more reliable and less expensive. Plus, I think I'd rather have one that holds my cell phone. I wouldn't waste my money on this one.
