I work in the inkjet printing industry, and we use these type of USB microscope cameras for quality testing. The ones we use run $300 +, but I needed one I could afford to lose. For $25 I gave this one a try. The image quality and magnification are great, I can't see any defects in the camera quality. The brightness control is useful. The zoom may work with their software, but I'm just using the Mac OS Photobooth app, which doesn't support that. Overall it equals the image quality of the $300 units.

First of all..GOOGLE PLAY, DOWNLOAD cameraFi2 app to use on your android phones...the q codes and links that came on the packaging for the microscope did not work for me! The Microscope came with NO INSTRUCTIONS!, so I dropped a star...Tech savvy people can figure it out easily enough...the best start is getting the correct app...the AMAZON page description says download cameraFi from google playstore, but there is no cameraFi, only cameraFi2, download it, it works, probably a newer version I assume. For the price, it is awesome, I use it to check trichomes on plants and look at insects, and it satisfies my needs with a clear image and great magnification! I have not figured out how to snap a pic using the button on the scope housing itsself, but the app allows me to snap them on my touchscreen anyways so no harm there....

Garbage. Works somewhat if you can get past the word document user manual that is difficult to read (poor translation)The adapter for android is far too large for any phone I've ever owned so you may as well forget that feature.I wish wish wish this worked for us, but it doesnt seem to be worth the hassle it is to get it going or use the software.Returning ours.

Perfect gift for your little inspiring scientist! The quality of this microscope at this price point truly amazes me! My 6 year old son absolutely loves it!So much fun.. Compact lightweight and easy to use!

A complete failure! If you own a Samsung device purchased in the year 2019 or later, DO NOT buy this microscope. The app will not work. I have the Samsung Note 10 plus and the app is not compatible. Furthermore, you need a fairly in depth IT background to get the software to work on your Windows 10 desktop. Frustrated and returned the item. The only positive in this whole experience is the free return through Amazon Prime.

Every time I see a review or somebody says the item didn’t work I always think they didn’t follow the instructions that’s why the product didn’t work. But I did everything to try and get this product to work I read the directions five times I plugged it into different products and I could not get this product to work. I may have just gotten a dud but I did not re-order the same product.

Great product. Slightly difficult to use at first, it takes a minute to understand how to move it in the direction you want at first. Awesome magnification. Occasionally it wont focus how you would like it to, but not very often. Other than that, this is an amazing microscope. compatible with multiple devices, great size, fits in the hands well.

Download an app, plug in this microscope, and get a really close look at stuff. Easy to use and interesting.

1st recieved material was defective, got replacement but that is with scratches on lens...trying to return ,not worth
