LuminoxMen Atacama Adventurer Field 1760 Series Country Swiss Quartz Watch

Luminox
This watch doesn’t have all the fancy bells and whistles that are seldom used even when available. Instead, you get a solid watch and band with a Swiss quartz movement that is easy to read (even at night) and waterproof beyond any depth the average person will venture.

Skeptical, but good purchase
I’ve always been into watches. Luminox does a great job with advertisement and promoting their product. Several years ago (like 12) I bought my first Luminox, kind of expensive for me at the time, but I bought into the advertisement and wouldn’t yah know…about three days in the glass cracked and I never got another Luminox as I found many owners had water resistance issues, glass breaking or cracking, etc. I came across this watch and rolled the dice and I actually really love it. Keeps good time, looks great at night and the legibility is great. The band is comfortable and easily able to be swapped with a different strap should you choose. I’ve showered with it, taken it to the field, you name it. It’s held up thus far and overall I’m really satisfied. I recommend.

Exactly as expected
Had a great experience with this watch I got for my ol man for Father's day. Tritium likes up as expected(I own several luminox watches)The watches arnt supposed to blind you at night. Great watch and no problems like others. Definitely a awesome thin profile watch.

Skeptical
I question the authenticity of this watch. As stated in another review, there was no literature with the watch and the counter weights on the second hands are a tuning-fork style in the photos of the listing, but the watch i received does not have the tuning fork design.

Literature missing
Watch is really nice. Was this a returned item because there were no operator's manual or paperwork with watch. There was only a tag (smeared) on the band. I have had higher end watches in the past and they always included paperwork

Very nice watch.
This watch looks good and has a nice feel of quality. The metal Luminox watch feels much better quality wise than their plastic watches. My second Luminox and never disappointed with my two watches.

Quality of Luminox has deteriorated
Not only is the luminosity many times less bright than it was in my previous Luminox but, as pictured, the luminous inset that was located by the number “2” has come off and is now adhering to the inner side of the crystal above the number “1.” I’ve owned the watch for about 3 months. In addition, Luninox tells me that the repair is not covered by the warranty because the retailer is not an authorized dealer! Beware.
