Not great product. The bag separates from the seal really easily when trying to open. Hopefully not all do this else they will be going in the bin

Thick bags, large capacity which seal well
KYONANO Reusable Sandwich Bags, Gallon Ziplock BagsThese really are monster size bags, not only are they large in size, they are also very thick. Four of the bags are stand-up bags where they will stand upright when filled with food. The other four bags are flat which are ideal for sliced meat, sandwiches or other flat foods.Made from PEVA (Polyethylene vinyl acetate), these do need to be handled with care. They cannot be used in a microwave, for steaming, or for placing boiling food inside. These must also be hand washed with normal temperature water, definitely not in a dishwasher. If not cared for correctly then the bags could be damaged. My first impressions were, what on earth can I do with these as they were so large, thick and stiff? But really, they are very handy indeed. Due to the thickness of the plastic, they will stand upright and store nicely in the fridge without taking up a lot of space. For example, in our fridge, once we have a few containers stacked up inside, we are left with very little free space. The beauty of these bags is that they can be slid down the sides or placed behind other containers. The bags are sealed by large ziplock strips on top, unlike some zip-locks, these do clip together very easily by just running 2 fingers along the zip.I shall certainly be using these, they will slot into those small unused spaces in our fridge.CONTENTS:4 x Stand-up bags4 x Sandwich bags1 x Instruction guideIf you have found my review at all helpful, I would very much appreciate if you could please click the 'Helpful' button below, thank you.

Very Versatile, BUT NOT For Food
As I have a number of reusable zip-tie food bags, I wanted to share my thoughts on this set as its displayed online and phisically whilst I'm writing this.On the face of it, these are thick PEVA plastic bags. I'm quite concerned by the accompanying warning with these bags:These mustn't be heated greater than 80°C;Never use them to steam/boil food;Never use in the microwave;Never place in the dishwasher. So what happens to my food if these warning are forgotten? It's doubtful that only the plastic would be damaged: there is also the danger of the plastic tainting the food, maybe even making it unsafe? As the warning are ambiguous, I can only presume. This set of instructions, all by the manufacturer, is rather long and perhaps difficult to remember.None of these warning are displayed on the bags either.Especially when I have so many actually *food safe* bags available that don't come with worrying warnings! - most of these are made of silicone.Due to recent scientific research we've found that plastic can and does indeed, leach into food. Sometimes this knowledge comes about after years of unknown, presumably safe use.As a result and because they smell quite plastic. I will only use these for non-food items. Such as stationary, miscellaneous items, toys.As they're quite thick I can even store my DIY material in them too, without damaging them. They're good longlife plastic, but NOT for food in my home. As they've been marketed for food, 2 stars.Otherwise it would have been 4 stars.

Saving the environment.
Whether you believe in global warming or not, we definitely have to cut down on our use of plastic. The days of having our sandwiches in single use carrier bags have to be put behind us. The same goes for freezer bags and other such uses.Although these bags are plastic themselves, they are reusable. They’re easy to wash and should last for many years if looked after. The Ziplock at the top of each bag will seal the bag completely. No air can get in and no liquids can get out. Freshness is locked in and you won’t get any nasty leaks. What carrier bag can offer that? You get 8 bags in total. 4 are of a flat design and the other 4 are expandable. Each bag is 11” square and the expandable ones will expand to nearly 3”.Of course, these bags are not limited to food use. They are great for storing cosmetics and toiletries when travelling. Should something leak, then at least the rest of belongings are protected. I think they’re clear enough for airport security as well.Overall, they’re reasonably priced enough to use with the knowledge that you are saving the environment.

Very Useful, Not for Heating/Re-heating Food
Variant: Gallon BagsThese bags are great, so convenient and with multiple uses. The bags are made from a relatively thick and made from PVC-free, Chloride free, lead-free and BPA-free plastic. They are also quite large in this Gallon Size, ideal for vegetables, wraps and a multitude of other foods. Sealing them is easy, with the ziplock, that further makes them leakproof. These really help us cut down on the amount of clingfilm and tinfoil we are using and therefore waste. Food is kept fresher in them for longer as well. The only downside is having to wash them out and dry them, which is a little bit of a pain, particularly the drying part. It is worth the effort for the re-usable and sustainable nature of them. There are two keys things to remember with these bags though: they’re not for heating/re-heating food nor are the dishwasher safe. This size is too big really for sandwiches, so we’ll have to buy some smaller ones for our kid’s lunchboxes, but ideal for picnics, where we take a lot of sandwiches and other foods with us. Handy for segregating food types as well.At £1.75 each though, they are quite expensive for what they are.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative and useful.
