Awesome for maintaining alignment without a teacher. I highly recommend it to new and experienced yogis. Only thing is the towel is slippery on the hands.

Great towel

I travel non-stop and I am a big proponent of the Atmananda alignment mat (read my other review under Atmananda natural rubber mat). I fold up this travel towel and bring it out to the beach, grass, hotels, etc. to practice. It helps me position myself properly so that I know I am not over stretching or over extending my body. The lines as I mentioned in my review of the Atmananda mat, truly help you prevent injury and strengthen your practice. The mat has non-slip grip on the bottom. It folds up super compact as I only travel with carry-on, and it is machine washable.
