Great texture, my favorite rice now
If you research this rice on the internet, you will find a site that explains how it is unique and fits in with other higher-end rices of Japan. This rice cooks up as normal (I use a fuzzy-logic rice cooker), but ends with a more firm texture, which suits my palate and preferences. Very enjoyable!

Very good rice
Way better than California card board rice. Worth the money!

Real rice!
I like this rice. Using my new rice cooker and it finished just the way rice should look and taste. Not sure it’s worthy of the cost but it’s clear it is a premium product. Took off a star for the cost.

Excellent gourmet rice!
This rice is excellent. If you want to know why rice is so important to the Japanese people, eat this rice! Went to reorder and it’s out of stock until later this month. Tired of people one starring gourmet products because of price. Heck yes it’s not cheap. Neither is a s500 Mercedes. This rice delivers on flavor, texture, umami and aroma. If you love food and know how to cook Japanese short grained rice, this product is a home run. Been having a great time sampling different imported Japanese quality rice with my kids lately. This one is in the top two of the list atm. Had a question and the seller responded quickly and clearly. Superior product, hands down!

The rice is just ok
I’ve had the rice several times and don’t see why it would be considered a coveted rice. It taste like any other locally bought rice.

Worth the price!
My husband is a "rice monster." He has to have rice everyday. We went to the market and try every rice that "seems" yummy to him. When we saw this product online he decide to give it a try. When we first cook it was a bit on the hard side. But on the 2nd and 3rd try, we notice it has better texture (we added a little bit more water). It is the best for curry and fried rice. There is no mochi feeling, but it is delicious rice. I would recommend it to my family and friends.

This is SOOOOOOO yummy
I’m Creole, so rice is my carb of choice (gumbo, red beans). Soft, but not gummy. Eye opening good taste.
