Quick Service - Great Packaging
The movie showed up in a very reasonable amount of time and was well packaged to be protected from damage. The movie was as expected: New - still wrapped in cellophane. I would purchase from this business again.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Dragonfly
The creators of "Scary Movie" and "The Naked Gun" set their sights on the comic book genre in the latest big screen parody "Superhero Movie". After being bitten by a genetically enhanced super dragonfly, high school student Rick Riker (Drake Bell) develops superhuman abilities and learns that with great power comes great responsibility. Rick becomes the masked crime fighter Dragonfly and battles the life-draining villain Hourglass (Christopher McDonald) who seeks to become immortal by killing thousands of people. "Superhero Movie" is a decent spoof of the blockbuster "Spider-Man" franchise and other comic book movies like "Batman Begins", "Fantastic Four" and "X-Men". The 2008 comedy delivers a good dose of sight gags and gross-out humor. The cast also includes Sara Paxton, Kevin Hart, Brent Spiner, Jeffrey Tambor, Marion Ross, Tracy Morgan and Leslie Nielsen. "Superhero Movie" is a fair improvement over such recent lame parodies like "Date Movie", "Epic Movie" and "Meet the Spartans".If you liked "Superhero Movie" in theaters, then you might want to check out the Extended Edition on DVD. The 2008 spoof of comic book blockbusters is presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen format. The extended edition includes a few minutes of additional footage not seen in theaters. The picture quality is very good and its 5.1 Dolby Digital sound is fairly enjoyable. Among special features, the DVD includes an alternate ending, 21 deleted scenes, theatrical trailer, "Meet the Cast" and "The Art of Spoofing" behind-the-scenes featurettes and audio commentary by writer/director Craig Mazin and producers David Zucker and Robert K. Weiss. Overall, "Superhero Movie" Extended Edition gets a "C".

Classic movie that mocks other superhero movies.
Leslie Nielsen is a gem in this movie! And Marion Ross adds her great acting with a comedic flare! Special effects are cheesy, but still make you laugh. Josh Bell's facial expressions are priceless!

Much better than it looks.
This movie is far better than the usual crop of crass, crude garbage being churned out. No nudity and the foul language consists of several uses of the word sh!t and one f-bomb at the end. This movie gets it right and actually has a fair bit of original humor instead of the rehash of bad visual jokes like other movies in this genre. The line, 'And I have exactly one hour to live', after which the soon to be baddie turns over an hour glass had me laughing pretty hard, you'll know what I mean if you give it a try. This movie works at being funny and not at being crude or crass and that's what makes it so good. The first watch was fun but every one after has been better and better. I liked it so much after my second viewing I bought it on instant video. While this may not become a fav of yours if you are looking for something fun and a bit more clever than the rest I say give it a try.

You Can’t Stop Laughing
Put Leslie Nielsen in any comedy and even as a supporting role player, his straight faced delivery will crack you up. His physical comedy is precious! This movie is very funny in spite of a few silly dead spots. Maybe the editor was laughing too hard at the previous scene and forgot to hit CUT…. B+.

This is one of my all time favorite movies. It has action and humor from beginning to end. The Hourglass is hilarious. The scene with the discount hourglass and the one when he smashes an hourglass and gets glass in his eye always makes me laugh. It's PG-13 but it is upper end PG-13 by far so be careful if watching it in a mixed audience. It can indefinably get awkward.I don't know why this movie didn't do better. It is absolutely a great movie. One of maybe 20 movies I have actually bought in the past 5 years. I had it on my DVR for a couple years but the power went out and I lost it. I love to show it to company. most people have never scene it and enjoy it once they do.

Silly but fun
Don't expect a Marvel epic. This is the epitome of cheap and cheerful. A couple of tasteless jests but mainly just trading on the characters' stupidity. The main flaw is the poor supervillain, more of an Iron Man foe than a Spiderman one.But a bit of a hoot.

Magical Comedy
Couldn't resist this when I seen Leslie Nielson in this movie, Comedy at it's greatest plenty off on the floor rolling in laughter involved. I gave this a rating of A grade plus for the storyline and performances by the actors. They make plenty of errors but who cares they don't save the world do they. So with plenty of sparks and things going on I decided you didn't need much more infro about this show. So it's time for munchies and a relaxing break in between doing things and this show will put you at ease knowing you have things to do but later. Enjoy!

Don't buy
This movie doesn't work so I'd suggest buying from someone else. When disc loads it says media source and not blu ray disc. Tried to return this but the it's saying that delivery still hasn't been completed.Stay far away from this seller as I've had problems like this before.
