This phone charger is good at charging your phone, there's no doubt about that. Although it's not going to stick to a dashboard without a mount of some sort, it does stick to the window with no issues. The vent clip will work with most cars also (the new mini coopers being an exception due the location and rotational nature of the vent). Still, it puts the phone within easy sight and will keep it charged without having to hook or unhook cables thanks to it's wireless charging design (the wire plugs into the charger, not your phone). So for people who's phones support wireless charging, this is the next obvious choice for a car charger.

My husband has an S9+ with a thick rugged case on it. We hadn't been able to find a car mount that would hold his phone in a safe position and that would keep his phone from falling. That is until we tried this mount. It cradled his phone in a way that it was right side up, but it wouldn't fall if we went over some bumps or took sharp turns. He could quickly pick up his phone and hand it to me as well. We didn't use the wireless charging feature, but we were able to use our own USB C cable while the phone was on the mount anyway. The arm of the mount is pretty sturdy, and it didn't lower at all from the level we set it to. We used this mount for over a week in a rental car while traveling over 3 different states and had zero problems with it. We're very happy with it.

This is a decent product. The wireless charging works great and the reason for the 3 stars. The suction/sticky portion that sticks to the dash also works well. The rest of the holder is loose and wonky imo. Even after tightening everything down it just feels unsecure. Pulling the phone from the holder is not smooth because the "arm" that extends out lifts with the phone. The arm can extend out several inches for accessibility but then it gets less secure.If you use the attachment for the airvent it's better, but then you're blocking your airvent.

The large piece shown just doesn't work on the dash of my car - mostly because it causes a blind spot no matter when I put it. The clip piece that is included works find on my car - lower, not blocking the windshield - and the charger part works fine. I don't often forget to charge my phone when I'm leaving the house, but it is nice to know that should the phone get too low, I can charge it in the car. Not bad - just because the larger piece can't work for me, I gave it four stars. I'm sure it will work for others...we all have different vehicles and preferences, right?

This car docking/charging station is a good purchase. It is very easy to assemble and will mount on either your dash or to an air vent. It is nice to have the choice. The wireless charging works well. The dash suction cup holds your phone very securely so no need to worry about your phone falling out. Just make sure the dash is clean and dry before installing. The silver color (see picture) looks very sharp.

I ordered this for my husband's work van to hold his phone and keep it charged. It works great, it charges the phone wirelessly and holds it securely, even on bumpy roads. He has a Samsung galaxy S8+ but I think it could accommodate any phone. It could either be mounted on the dashboard with the sticky attachment or on the vent with the clip attachment. It has a cord that plugs into the port in your car for charging.
