Sunco PAR30 LED Bulbs, Flood Light Outdoor Indoor CRI90 75W Equivalent 11W, Dimmable, 2700K Soft White, 850 Lumens, E26 Base, Wet-Rated, Super Bright, IP65 Waterproof - UL 4 Pack

I had previously purchased the Triangle brand of Par30 bulbs. These were not available any longer so the Sunco were the next best thing I could find on Amazon. I needed to buy 40 of them for my daughter's house.The 2700k bulbs are *pretty* close to incandenscent lighting color- BUT HAVE A *SLIGHT* PINKISH HUE to them. Our family gives the color a mixed review. I like the color, my daughter doesn't and her husband is on the fence. The Triangle bulbs give off a truer incandescent colored light, a bit more yellow. You might really like these with the slightly pink hue. The CRI (Color Reference Index) is rated at 80+ with 90 being the standard, but I think to get a "better" bulb you'll spend 3x the money for that. I don't think the CRI rating would be helpful in the less expensive bulbs and some don't even publish a CRI rating.

These dim well and the light is a nice quality - next time I'll probably chose 2700K over 3000K, but that is a personal choice, not a criticism. They come on instantly.I got these bulbs because that were half an inch shorter that your typical PAR30 bulb without being as short as the short-necks. I thought that was what I needed to fit in my cans, although I later figured out that my cans are adjustable so I didn't really need to focus on size.Also about PAR30 vs BR30 : BR does a nicer job of filling the room with light, while PAR is more focused in one spot. The downside of the BR is it tends to glare in your eyes when you are looking at it across the room and the bulb is flush with the ceiling. You could recess it but then I am not sure there would be an advantage over the PAR. The BR I tried was 110 degree beam angle, while the PAR (this bulb) was 40 degrees. I wish there was a choice in-between, but that is hard to find.

I got these to use with a dimmer, but if I go less than 11% - 15% dim on my Treatlife Alexa dimmer switches, ,they turn off. I have two in the foyer and have them set to turn on at a 11% brightness at dark. One will work and the other appears to be off = no light is visible from it. If I increase the dim to 16% or more, then the one that was off will turn on and match the brightness of the other one. These bulbs shouldn't work this way!I have another in a separate area which is meant to turn on at 20% brightness at night and often times it doesn't come on at all, unless I increase the dimmer to more than 20%.

These lights seemed to be just what I needed for our outdoor Christmas wreath display. Much brighter than the CFL's I have been using. However, they have failed when it rains. Noticed that the lights were dimming, then went out one evening. Found that the base of the lamp was corroded. Had to wire brush and file the base to remove the corrosion. One of the four lights could not be repaired. The contact point of the base had completely eroded away. I have since applied copious amounts of electrical tape around the spotlight holders in an effort to keep all water/moisture out of the fixtures.

I replaced several old style incandescent flood lights with these led flood lights. They work well for lighting up the yard around our cottage

I bought these along with some qx24 pin adapters to convert the CFLs I had to the led in some recessed ceiling cans. Unfortunately, the adapter didn't mess we with these LEDs and would go ahead after about 5 seconds of power. They also stuck out from the can with the adapters about 3/4". They are also very much light a spotlight and don't flood very much, which wasn't ideal for the room.

Needed a replacement for my Philips PAR30L bulbs. Didn't want to pay the steep price for the Philips. These fit the bill and when installed, they were almost identical. Great light output. Will see if they last longer than the Philips. I'm happy with these though and will most likely order more.

It's pretty good, but it doesn't dim well. I have 8 of them and as you dim, different ones drop out. So they dim a little and then drop out at different dimmer levels. Just now, at medium dim, they were playing color calliope - all that was needed was gels. Fascinating to watch, rapidly popping off and on.

Very happy with the company, they are prompt and helpful. Bulbs I ordered look good and are working so far.
