AMDLlano A6-3500 Tri-Core Processor with Integrated Radeon HD, 6530D Graphics and Socket FM1

I bought this processor for a budget office pc and it works a charm. I find it surprising how fast it is for its price and the on board gpu can run older games surprisingly well.Just to give you an idea what it can do.Oblivion on max 60 FPSSkyrim low - medium 40ish FPSFallout new Vegas 60FPSI think this is a good processor for office work and non intensive home use if you are on a tight budget. As good as this is I would not buy it now if I could help it, if your looking for a cheap CPU/GPU maybe look at a quad core fm2 apu as it would have a nice spring to it's step.This is as cheap as I would recommend.

Used this for a self-build and it's perfect for what I wanted, something quiet and efficient.Above all else: - It uses less power than alot of processors - The in-built graphics means you don't need a seperate graphics cardI couldn't give a monkies about fancy games mega graphics, so this chip was ideal for me.For day to day stuff this is all you need, that includes full hd video such as from iplayer.My understanding is that it can actually handle to a reasonable level of some games graphics as well but I can't comment on that front, you'll need to check if that's what you want if for.Never had a problem with an AMD chip in the past so no reason not to assume the same high reliability from this.

This apu is a very good value package, providing graphics capability comparable to a £30-40 graphics card and processing power better than a 'stand alone' dual core processor which costs in the region of £40-50. If you add in the low power consumption of this unit it represents a very good product as a base for a quiet and efficient general or HTPC computer.The only drawback with this 'processor in a box' is that the supplied heatsink and fan suffers from a fan which is not the quietest. I have ordered a replacement from Arctic Cooling which should hopefully improve matters.

processors of a similar price. This is really quite a neat package and woluld easily function in a HTPC. In my case it's in an HTPC case, so is a really compact system, but is used as the primary PC for my wife so it easily caters with email, browsing, some streaming and office apps.Some of the newer ones in the family as probably than bit better but are probably more power hungry.

Great apu with fast built in graphics i crossfired it with a Asus hd6670 dual graphics and it runs all my dx11 games . use the amd overdrive software and you get 4ghz out the box and its safe to use as my old a4-3400 only gets 3.5 GHzPerfect for games perfect for xbmc .. And fm1 boards are so cheap now you can build a great PC but use minimum ddr3 1333 to 1866 I use 6gb 1333 .Windows 8.1 and windows 10 preview is very fast on it ..windows 7 is bit slow
