I gave this DVD only 2 stars because, even though it's probably a great movie, I couldn't enjoy it because the language was in Spanish with English subtitles. The disc offered no option to hear the soundtrack in English. Before I purchased this DVD, I asked the seller if the soundtrack was in English. He assured me it was.

Well this is a story that has been told over in many ways over the years. but this one is from a Latino perspective. I enjoyed it even though it was a bit B grade, at the right price with nothing else on, buy it and enjoy.

Di Di Hollywood(2011) is a tacky soap opera! It's about a barmaid from Spain who wants to be a movie star in Hollywood. She's willing to do unpleasant things. I laughed my butt off when the Maria character got run over by a car! "My Maria...got crushed by a car..." The female lead has no charisma! What is Peter Coyote doing in this movie? This is an R rated film. There is nudity in it. This dumb, vapid movie is a waste of time!
