A like it a lot, with a few minor complaints
Cons: Does not use your native phone alarm app or sounds/vibrations, you need to download their app and set alarms there, which are limited to 10 alarms. No internal memory so if it isn't paired with your phone when you go to sleep the alarm won't go off.Pros: Small device that will scare the bejeezus out of you when it buzzes; customizable buzzes, lights, and sounds; battery lasts a long time; the pull cord snooze/alarm off function is pretty ingenious. Required app is very simple. Device itself looks very sleek and visually appealing.I've had this for about a month and have no other buzzer alarms to compare it to. I am decently satisfied with this - it has definitely got me up in time for many things. I have a condition that makes waking up hard... I slept thru a house fire as a kid once. The only alarms that really woke me were my phone buzzing, but I would have to keep it under my pillow to work and I didn't want to rely on my sleepy self putting it in the right place before bed. The Vibio buzzing alarm is perfect. Stronger than my phone vibrations too, so much more reliable at waking me up. My only wishes are that the device could sync with my phone alarms instead of setting separate alarms on the app, that more than 10 alarms were allowed, and that the device had some internal memory so that if it loses connection with my phone it would go off anyway.I use the Google Play store for apps on my Samsung Galaxy A53 5G and had no trouble finding and downloading the app. This was the review I left for the app specifically:"Simple app to program the Vibio device to buzz at certain times. I appreciate that it's a super simple interface: just setting the alarm or turning existing alarms off and on. I have some minor annoyances and wishes with it but overall this app seems dependable and easy to use. UPDATE: Allows max of 10 alarms. I got Vibio due to my sleep disorder and being unable to wake. I typically set upwards of 20 alarms at intervals across the day. Wish more alarms were allowed. Otherwise still enjoying it."

I have almost complete hearing loss in one ear and can’t hear my phone alarm many mornings. This alarm has saved me. It has a little pull tab that you pull twice to turn off, super easy. My only complaint about it is that I have to reconnect it to my Bluetooth every time I want to use it, which takes an extra step to turn it on. Other than that, it’s a great alarm.

App crashes
Here are the reasons I returned it:* The app crashes after less than 30 seconds of use. It took an intolerable quantity of app restarts to set an alarm so I could see if the device would go off.* App not compatible on all newish Android devices.* The vibrating alarm isn't as strong as another bed shaker device I bought to compare with.* The charging port is micro usb (older tech) and the other device was usb-c (newer tech).* I prefer black and this product is only available in white. The other device is available in black.I decided to return this product after attempting to set it up for about 30 mins. Previous low star ratings mentioned trouble pairing, which I typically disregard. My not-so-old phone (Samsung Note) and relatively new tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite) don't have trouble pairing with devices. What I did have trouble with was finding the app. I primarily use my tablet to control my smart home devices. When I tried to find the app in Google Play, the only app that matched the product name, VIbio, was for a wearable (i.e., adult sex toy). After multiple search phrases, I realized the app is not compatible on the Tablet. Usually if the app isn't compatible, you can still find it and it has a little warning label that the app is not optimized for this device and you can still install it. With this app, it simply doesn't show up in the store at all. I eventually found the app on my phone and installed it.I didn't have trouble with pairing the device to my phone, but I did have trouble with using the app due to frequent freezing and crashing. It froze and crashed everytime I pushed the sound setting button for an alarm. It also froze and crashed when attempting to save the alarm. Notably, the device remain paired with my phone the whole time I was dealing with the crashing app (this is a problem reported by others). More than 6 crashes later, I was finally able to set an alarm that successfully saved to the device so I could see if it would go off at a scheduled time (another issue reported across multiple bed shaker products). It went off, but I ultimately didn't want to have to deal with an app that doesn't work. I envisioned my half awake self trying to reload a crashed app 10 times before I could successfully stop the alarm in the morning. The device only has a manual snooze button, not a cancel/stop alarm button, so you have to stop the alarm with the app that doesn't work.I initially bought two bed shaker products to compare because based on the product description and ratings alone, they sounded virtually the same. All products claim to have strong vibration alerts without providing any objective means to compare (i.e., some form of measurement). The vibe set to strong on the Vibio was equivalent to a medium on the other bed shaker.

Never sleep thru an alarm again!
I’ve been using this alarm for several months with no trouble. I have to wear a CPAP and have an oxygen concentrator going all night. With all that noise, I can’t hear an alarm unless it’s really loud. My alarms always woke my daughter on the other side of the house. I took a chance with the Bellman & Symfon Vibio vibrating alarm and I’m super happy. This is the absolute best alarm clock invention ever and easy to program. I put it in a small drawstring pouch (made of a non-slick material) to keep it from sliding out of my pillow case. I never feel the unit thru the pillow, but the vibration definitely wakes me.If you’re on the fence about it because of the cost, let me tell you that it’s worth every penny.

So far, so good!
My 16yo ADD child cannot wake up to any alarm. It's been a week and so far this is working!!! As a bonus, it doesn't wake the entire household. Seems to be convenient for her to use, too.

Take the time to learn how to use this properly and you will more likely be pleased.
After failed results on the first few nights, I planned to return the device to Amazon. Because I really, REALLY wanted it to work, I took out the instruction booklet and re-read it. I experimented with different setup possibilities in the areas I was uncertain about and gave it a few more tries during non-essential wake-up times. This device has not failed me once since I figured out how to use it properly. There are probably a few clarifications that could be added to the instructions which would help in the set up process and perhaps minimize the number of returns.
